Over the past 4 years I have had my parents in several different senior living facilities. While Clinton House was not the Hilton feel as some of the other facilities they stayed in. It was always clean, and the staff is second to none. The overall care and compassion that their staff gives the clients is definitely above and beyond what I ever could have asked for. I would like to point out several standout employees that they have. Trish is their coordinator, but she doesn't stop there. Not only does she have to juggle everyone's appointments but there is nothing that she will not do for the clients or Clinton House. She has also had one of her daughters join the Clinton House family, and I can definitely tell that she has her mothers work ethic and compassion for the patients. All of the nursers were awesome and a few stand outs where Chelsie along with her Mother Bunnie. They both treated my parents as family members, as well as they were always there for myself when I needed answers to what was really going on regrading my parents' health. In the early hours of my mother's final day on this earth you could just see the compassion from them as they said their goodbyes to her. Last but definitely not least is their director, Tracy. The first day I met her she made the comment to me that if her employees were not up to her standards or willing to come up to her standers, she would find someone that was. She definitely stayed true to that statement of the time that we were in the Clinton House family. I am sure you have noticed that I used the term "family" several times throughout this as this is the feeling that Clinton House gives to their residents and their family.

CLINTON HOUSE USED TO HAVE A NOT-SO-FAVORABLE REPUTATION BY THE COMMUNITY. AFTER HAVING A RELATIVE LIVING AT CLINTON HOUSE, I CAN SEE THAT OPINION WAS MISLEADING. EVERYONE IS VERY FRIENDLY & CARES FOR THE RESIDENTS. THEY DECORATE FOR HOLIDAYS & HAVE FUN ACTIVITIES PLANNED. THEY HAVE CHURCH SERVICES AVAILABLE & ARE EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH WHEN YOU NEED TO TALK. THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS' FAMILIES AS WELL. I WILL BE CHOOSING CLINTON HOUSE AS MY HOME SOMEDAY WHEN I CAN NO LONGER LIVE ALONE.

I had a great stay at clinton house facilities. The rooms have plenty of storage and space for all of your needs. The staff is excellent and very courteous and caring at all aspects of the job. There are plenty of activities to do to keep you busy, baking and bingo are two of the house favorites. They allow you to bring whatever amenities you want and the rooms include a tv with cable and very clean beds. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need, the staff, nurses, and all faculty are exceptional. Very thorough therapists I had a great stay and was taken care of at the top level.

Loved one goes in for rehab for a back injury and the "doctor" takes him off of his pysch meds until he had a full blown psych episode while I'm on the phone and the nurse telling him that he should just check himself out and leave.....when he can't walk. This is a HORRIBLE facility and the "doctor" is a joke. He's an MD not a psychiatrist.

I have had 3 relatives there basically at 1 time. One they drugged her to sedate her. When she became ill they waited over a week to tell the Dr she was sent to the hospital and passed away because she had not been treated 2nd was give antipsychotic drugs when there was nothing wrong with her and she died from it and 3rd told them she had a place that hurt they did not check it for over a month in which gangrene had set in and had to have surgery to save her. They don't bathe them except maybe once month and if they say they don't want it they don't do it. Items clothing and other things are taken and given to other people and they will not look for tem or reimburse you. pushing the light it tkes over 45 minutes for them to answer. Nursing staff is not friendly and they do not care about the patients.

My mother is in Clinton House Health and Rehab Center. It's a decent nursing home. The staff members do their job like they're supposed to do. She doesn't have any problem with them. It's a little older facility, but it's not bad. It's not dirty and it doesn't stink. They have a game room where they play cards and they have an exercise room.
