Horrible. Untrained staff, terrible food, unsanitary conditions overall. They're very good at taking your money though.

University Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center was a dump. When I got in there, the staff wasn't very professional. Before I walked in, you could smell urine. It had an odor about it. You walked through the place and it just seemed like a chaotic mess. The girl who walked me around and showed me around the place was probably not the one who even knows how to give a tour, because she was quick. She just went, "Here's this, here's this, and here's that." So, I don't have anything else good to say about it.

Some of the aides have nasty adittudes and a few were nice. The food sucked they kept giving me sweets while I'm diabetic after I told them I have diabetes. I loved the therapy people were the best part.

My mother was at University Park Health and Rehab for a week and a half. After my mom passed away, I didnt get a phone call from anybody from the office. I got to know them pretty well, but all I got was a bill. I wasn't really crazy about the staff. They were OK, but you could tell they werent as professional. They were really quick to rent me my mom's room without her Medicaid being approved and it turned out that it wasn't approved, and it came out to about $300. The staff was not that well-trained. Her room was just a hospital room. I wouldn't recommend the place to anybody because there are better places. The food was not great, but the people seemed to be able to get seconds whenever they wanted. They had a pretty nice activity room with scheduled activities. It's a very small facility so there werent a lot of different areas. It was also way too expensive.
