I went to Lutheran life Villages at Anthony Boulevard. They're a little on the rundown side. My husband was there for two months in the nursing home and short-term rehab. The staff was older, and the apartment was a little worn.

The Village at Anthony Boulevard was very nice. The staff who gave us the tour was very thorough, very informative, and very nice. Some of the rooms don't have refrigerators and stoves. The facility is much older. We didn't go outside, but they showed us there. It was fairly nice. They have lots of walking areas that you can go to, a lot of outside areas that you can access.

We toured The Village at Anthony Boulevard. It was very clean, and the staff was very nice, helpful, informative, and answered all our questions. They gave us a tour of the place. The people there seemed happy, they were dancing in their little community room. It's a very nice place. I haven't tried their meals but the cafeteria looked very nice and very large. The tour was good.

My aunt was at Lutheran Life Villages at Anthony Boulevard. We hated it, that's why we moved her out; they were terrible. The staff were uncaring and careless. They gave my aunt the wrong medicine, so we needed to get her out of there. She hated it and we didn't like it either. I never got to see her apartment. She never got out of quarantine because they kept having positive cases, so they kept extending her quarantine. I never got to see her regular room. It was terrible trying to get straight information from them. We didn't like anything about this place. The food was cold and horrible, I wouldn't feed animals what they feed them sometimes. It was that bad. There would be things on the floor and their aides would come and go but they didn't bother picking anything up. They didn't do any cleaning, really. It was just a very careless place. They were also very expensive. The only great thing about them, and it was really good, was that they had a holiday house, which was a trailer with Christmas decorations, and staff we could get visiting appointments from. We'd meet her in the trailer and staff would bring her out in a wheelchair. That's really the best thing about the place. It's probably more of a skilled nursing facility. I would call that section skilled nursing because they put her in the rehab unit and called that quarantine. She never got out of her chair. They took care of her meds and they did everything.

I like Lutheran Life Villages, but at the time I visited, they couldn't accept my grandmother. What I like most about this community is that they seemed really into the residents. The setup seemed really good. My grandmother would have really liked it. The atmosphere in the assisted living's dining room was gorgeous. The rooms were really nice. Also, they said they take bus trips to different places.
