We take my mother to Lutheran Life Village Birchwood two times a week, which is private pay and we're very well pleased with them. They're a very good organization here in Allen County. They got four different facilities around the area and this facility specializes in dementia and Alzheimer's condition. Overall, we are very well pleased. It is only two years old and they offer daycare from 6:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon, and every other Saturday. They offer lunch meal and bathing services for the visitors, which is primarily why we bring our mother there. I don't have the facilities to give a handicapped person a bath here in my house, and her home is in need of repair. We take her there for bathing purposes and socialization, and a little time away from my house, which gives me a little break also. Overall, everything is in A+ condition. I'm very well satisfied.

I thought that The Village at Birchwood was beautiful and laid out beautifully. The staff was fantastic, I like everything about the place. The dining area also looked very nice. When we were there, they had a cute little puppy service dog visiting. They did craft projects.
