My husband has been at Coventry Meadows for a month now and we're pretty happy with it. I don't know what tops their service - the people that work there or the cleanliness of the place, but they are both wonderful. The staff is very friendly and very patient with him. Everything in the building is arranged such that it's easy to get around. In the dining room or lounge area, every morning they have a chalkboard of what's going to be happening and what time it's going to be happening. They'll have exercises from 9:00 until 9:30. And then at 10:00, they'll have maybe bingo or a trivia game. They keep them busy, and they keep an eye on them all.

We went to Coventry Meadows and met with a woman in the office who gave us a tour. She sat down and talked to us. She was very friendly and did a good job explaining things about a lot of different aspects, from a waiting list to what kind of amenities they offer. They have shuttle buses that take you for no charge to doctor's appointments and even have occasional community activities that they take people to. They don't have to worry about driving and finding a place to park and they try to use that also for some entertainment. She talked about how close a lot of the people are living in those independent apartments. They're almost like small condos, but they have a really strong community and everybody kind of keeps an eye on each other and a lot of times they get together to play cards or something. It just sounded very appealing in terms of having some companionship as well as a scaled-down place to live and some protections. If anything happened, my husband could just buzz the necklace and some of the staff that would be close by would come over and check on him. So, I had a very positive impression. It was a pretty small place. We live in a four-story home, so anything is going to look small to us, but it was laid out nicely and we could imagine ourselves there. They had a lovely sunroom that looked out over a big marsh that is behind the facility (Eagle Marsh), and there was a lot of local wildlife. It's a very pretty setting. So, that's a nice aspect of it, too.

I took a tour of Coventry Meadows for my mother, and the place was excellent. Their units were very nice and the place itself was clean and well thought out. The staff that I met during the tour was very polite. It has an overall nice layout.

The staff who gave me the tour of Coventry Meadows was very attentive and listened to my needs. She showed me one of the model apartments and it looked very nice. It had a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. It seemed this facility offered all the amenities that we would need. They had transportation to doctor's appointments, and I saw a dining room.

Coventry Meadows was very nice, new, and clean, and the people were friendly. The staff was great. They just didn't have what my mother was looking for. They didn't have a bathtub and there weren't many trees because it's newer. The rooms were new, nice, and practical. They have a movie theater, a billiards room like a game room, and a nice dining room. They have a little enclosed outdoor courtyard.

My mother is in Coventry Meadows. It's pretty nice, really clean, bright, and cheerful. The nurses are great and friendly. They have a lot of activities and games and they have the TV going. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food is good. The dining area is very clean and nice because it's also got a TV in there, couches and chairs. They play bingo. She's at The Cottage.

In 2018, my mother was at Coventry Meadows. She was in memory care when she died. Everything would be a 5 except the food. They did a great job with memory care. Their staff was very good, and they had good communication with the family. They had some things to help their memory, and they could participate in the assisted living activities if they were able, and I appreciated that. She never did participate, but that's a good feature. They can go on a field trip, or they can go up to the main level where they had concerts or whatever. They had a little bit coming in there, but they opened that up, which I think was a good thing because it gave mom more options. The layout was good. It's kinda weird though because you had to go around the back of the building to the backdoor to get in the memory care, but it was a nice-looking building. It was simple but clean.

The atmosphere here is extremely positive and uplifting. There are always unique activities happening and the staff do a great job of encouraging residents to participate. Therapy was terrific and they were able to rehabilitate my father to come home successfully. He was very attached to his physical therapist and even took him out to dinner afterward! All the staff work together towards achieving a positive outcome. The nursing staff were crucial in giving my father and our family good quality moments together. We are so grateful to Coventry Meadows. I recommend to anyone on this journey to bring your loved ones to Coventry Meadows!

Coventry Meadows has independent living, assisted, and nursing care. The nursing home and recovery care has semi-private rooms, and a lot of people would want private rooms. The rehab area itself was very clean, but the nursing area was not as clean, and had odor issues. The assisted living area is a 5. The individual units are roomy, they have a nice dining room, there's a library, and a nice courtyard. The staff is friendly, and they do a lot of community programs and social programs. I would personally go to their assisted living.

Coventry Meadows is very nice. They are adjoined homes but it is as if you have your own home. They have a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a one-car garage. The staff is very nice and very knowledgeable. They had nothing going on at the time, but the place is very well run. They have a library and a bulletin board full of activities.

Coventry Meadows is very close to Lutheran Hospital. They have a memory care area, and the woman who took me on a tour was interacting with a woman who was walking around and wandering. She walked up to the woman and was being very friendly. That was really nice; I liked it a lot. I noticed staff interacting and sitting with the residents. Everything looks like it’s being kept up, and things are being kept in good repair. There’s outside patio-type space and common areas.

This is a lovely place in some respects...great to look at, many available activities, for example. However, after having knowledge of the day to day workings, I'm not impressed. For example, some employees think nothing of complaining to the residents about how overworked and stressed they are due to lack of staff. I witnessed medications being dropped off in a room with no oversight of the patient even taking them. Some aides are rough with fragile residents and call buttons are not always answered promptly. Who's in charge here? I've got to believe there's a problem at the top.

My mother was in Coventry Meadows for two years. The reason we picked this place for her was that it had a 24-hour nursing staff. However, they would miss on her medications. They would either overmedicate or undermedicate her. They just didn't care for her. We complained about it multiple times, but because they were on a year-to-year basis, we could not move my mother to another facility or they would sue us. That's ridiculous. We just waited until the end of the contract and that was it. Their food also was horrible. I would not recommend this place.

I was there for rehab after a knee replacement. Big mistake. Their staff can not handle someone who is not senile and had no idea what to do for a knee rehab. I was denied use of the walker I brought with me from the hospital! I checked out after one night in this horrible, horrible place.

Check out their ratings! Compared with other facilities Coventry Meadows has gotten only ONE star! Check it out for yourselves online. Becky will try to talk you into signing a DNR (do not resusitate) for your loved one. She gave me the creeps and she does not tell the truth about Coventry Meadows' ratings. The staff seems to change quite frequently too. Be careful about this place.

I recently took my mother on a tour of Coventry Meadows assisted living facility. I was very impressed with how well it was run. With my mother being a victim of Alzheimer's diseases I was happy that the facility was too big. The landscape around Coventry Meadows was very well maintained and displayed a vast variety of flowers. The one thing I was most impressed with was the staff. One person that impressed me most was Becky Nichols in admissions; she was helpful, informative, patient, and willing to help us with our questions and concerns. If you looking for a wonderful place for a loved one Coventry Meadows is the place.
