My grandmother moved to Two Hearts Homes for Seniors - Crown Point. It's a small community of only 15 bedrooms. The number of caregivers to residents ratio is awesome. The caregivers there make the food for the residents. It's got a big open-concept kitchen, dining room, and living room, so they all eat together in that same room. They watch TV together. It's family-owned and operated. The owners have been great to work with. The administrative team has been great to work with. It's more of a home setting than a facility setting. It's just a family vibe. The staff is very outgoing and tends to go above and beyond. There's a small number of residents. So, they can take the time to get to know the people. It's very intimate. The facility is clean. The facility is brand new. They just sent me a picture of my grandma painting a coaster today. The whole building is in the shape of a U. At the bottom of the U is like the living room, the kitchen, and everything else. Then the branches of the U, the one bedroom, the large studio apartments, and they have a nice bathroom and nice-sized high ceilings.
