Worthington Place has been excellent. The living atmosphere is great. My mom's unit is roomy. She has her own bed, a little living room, a little kitchenette, and a big bathroom. The staff has been awesome. They've worked really closely with her to make the transition work. There's games every day, crafts, music, people that come in to entertain once in a while, and some field trips. She hasn't participated yet and that's kind of been locked down because of COVID, but they keep her pretty active. They have a beauty shop, too. The dining area is nice. It's got an open concept. The place is super clean and all the other residents seem to welcome the new ones well.

I toured Worthington Place. I liked it. They have a couple of openings right now. It's just like a small apartment inside, and it is assisted living only. It seemed very nice and very clean. They have a little refrigerator, a freezer in all the individual apartments, and a microwave. It's not that they're unfurnished, you can bring your furniture. A queen size bed will fit there and many people had a queen size bed. They have it in the wall out and then they have a sofa across the end of the bed that kind of divides the living rooms and the bedrooms. Some of them do have one bedroom off to the side. The one I looked at was just all one space and they've got the walk-in showers. They're just even with the floor. It looked roomy. The ones that they showed us had furniture and stuff in them, and then they showed others without any furniture that way you could picture what you wanted to put in there and the way you wanted it. They have good views from their windows. I thought it was very well planned out, the way it was laid out. The staff was very nice, very helpful, and very informative. He was talking to us and just asked if there was anything else we wanted to see. He showed us the dining room and all the different places. They have an exercise room or physical therapy-type room. They had the space to get your hair done and everything, and then they had an outside area where if you want to go outside to that little table or just sit in some chairs and enjoy the air. They had some nice areas out there. I liked it a lot because they have a bus that takes people around to their doctor appointments or hospital or whatever, and if they do have trips and things that they can take if you want to go, they do that, and it just doesn't sound like you get bored there.

Worthington Place was a smaller community. The insides, the rooms, and everything were wonderful. They had very good food and dining. They had activities, and the staff was very, very nice. The facility was very nice, very comfortable, and very clean. We had snacks when I was there. Their food was very, very good, and I enjoyed it. They had a courtyard in the center available to anyone who wants to go out there, with lots of flowers, and it was very nice out there. The staff was wonderful. They tried to work with us to give us the best deals and they were wonderful people to work with. The place had a very family feeling; it was a very nice feeling.

My mom has moved into Worthington Place. It's good. They're very attentive and very helpful for her needs. The dining room is still closed to outside visitors other than meeting in a special room. I had very little interaction with the staff, but so far the ones that I've interacted with have been very attentive, very efficient, and very effective. The physical structure is very nice. My mom is participating in activities, but I'm not sure what kind of activities. They have something every day for them to participate in. They have sent me pictures of her participating in some games. They had some horses come visit today, so they were able to go outside and pet the horses.

Worthington Place is very nice and willing to work with us on everything. They're helpful as far as getting paperwork completed for my relative. The place is very homey-looking and welcoming. The staff is friendly and gives assistance if you're looking for veteran's aid. They have an activity director so they have several activities weekly, like churches coming in, and people come in to play music.
