Located inside a handsome white villa with a high-peaked gabled roof, Raleigh Hills Senior Care is positioned close to the Portland Golf Club, about halfway between Portland and Beaverton, Oregon. Portland is a fast-growing city of over 600,000 people, 12% of whom are seniors aged 65 and over, with art walks and heavily wooded nature trails that are inviting diversions for active seniors. Raleigh Hills Senior Care provides independent and assisted senior living in private rooms, each with its own bathroom attached. Staff at the facility are available 24 hours a day and can monitor residents' blood sugar for dosing with pills. A nurse is on call at Raleigh Hills if residents need medical assistance. Seniors at Raleigh Hills Senior Care can count on staff assistance with the activities of daily living, including one-person lift assistance and daily check-ins for wellbeing and medication reminders. Staff prepare three meals a day for residents, snacks are available all day and meals can be taken together in the dining room or alone in a resident's room. Utilities are included in the monthly payment, except for cable TV and telephone, and transportation to and from medical appointments is provided at no cost.
