A non-profit, 501(c3) the Manor, is managed onsite by a team of highly qualified staff and overseen by a very active volunteer Board of Directors. ​The Manor apartment has 48 residential units and is part of the larger campus of FAHA which includes, FAHA Palms a cooperative limited equity apartment for median income Seniors, recreational facilities and the Heritage Hall event center. St. Andrew’s Manor is a six-story, 60-unit development for seniors 62 and older in the City of Oakland. The project has been owned and operated by SAHA since 1972. The property’s rehabilitation will include unit rehabs, accessibility upgrades, a new second elevator and upgrades to the existing elevator. The property will also incorporate many new eco-friendly features into the building design. This rehabilitation ensures low-income elderly residents a more comfortable home while preserving the depth of affordability that St. Andrew’s provides its residents.

Las Bougainvilleas Senior Housing provides 68 one and two-bedroom apartments to very low-income seniors who can maintain independence with our without assistance. It is subsidized by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) as a 202 PRAC/Section 8 Senior housing facility. Features: All units are equipped with energy efficient appliances, including electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and garbage disposal. All apartments include full bathroom, dual-paned windows, heating units, carpets, and closet space. 100% of the units are ADA accessible or adaptable. Strawberry Creek Lodge was originally developed in 1962 and is nestled into the heart of Berkeley. The Lodge holds a community of 150 senior households active in their Berkeley community. SAHA partnered with Strawberry Creek Lodge Foundation to refinance and remodel the Lodge including seismic and building upgrades.
