St. Andrew’s Manor is a six-story, 60-unit development for seniors 62 and older in the City of Oakland. The project has been owned and operated by SAHA since 1972. The property’s rehabilitation will include unit rehabs, accessibility upgrades, a new second elevator and upgrades to the existing elevator. The property will also incorporate many new eco-friendly features into the building design. This rehabilitation ensures low-income elderly residents a more comfortable home while preserving the depth of affordability that St. Andrew’s provides its residents.

J.L. Richard Terrace is an affordable housing community for seniors owned by Evergreen Baptist Church. Located near beautiful Lake Merritt in downtown Oakland, CA, it offers 80 apartments to seniors age 62 or over and/or handicap/disabled individuals who qualify as very low or extremely low income according to HUD income limits for the area.

Built in 1968 and renovated with funds from the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, Westlake ChristianTerrace – East offers 200 affordable studio and one bedroom apartments to seniors in downtown Oakland. Proximity to shops, an active senior center, and public transportation make this a great place to call home!

Columbia Park Manor, built in 1997, is Satellite Affordable Housing Associates' only development in Pittsburg. The development of Columbia Park Manor was a collaborative effort between the Pre-School Coordinating Council, Pittsburg nonprofit family services agency, and Satellite Senior Homes. Columbia Park Manor offers 78 one-bedroom units and a manager’s unit on a beautifully landscaped lot. The two-floor community provides residents with an abundant amount of peaceful resting areas in its centrally located patio, a large community room with accompanying kitchen, spacious lobby with sitting spaces, on-site laundry facilities and plenty of resident and guest parking.

Through a partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Housing and the San Francisco Housing Authority, as well as the instrumental support of neighboring public housing tenants, Chinatown CDC was able to construct this building on the surface parking lot at the North Ping Yuen, a SF Housing Authority public housing project. The building was designed specifically for independent living by elderly and disabled persons, families who qualify for rental assistance as “Very Low Income Families” under HUD’s Section 8 program. The building consists of a single story parking garage with 3 stories of housing above it. Its community room is also well utilized by the community.

Satellite Affordable Housing Associates has managed Homes Now in the Community, owned by the West Oakland Health Facilities Development Corporation, since April 2009. The ten unit development was built in 1981 and provides affordable housing to seniors ages 62 or older, and ages 18 or older with a disability. Homes Now in the Community is located about one mile from the West Oakland BART station and is a short walk from the West Oakland Library, De Fremery Recreation Center and three nearby parks and playgrounds.

Las Bougainvilleas is conveniently located near public transportation and shopping. Residents at Las Bougainvilleas and our other Senior properties enjoy access to the Fruitvale-San Antonio Senior Center for social activities, classes, and events. Transportation is provided to and from the Senior Center free of charge.
