My wife stayed at Champaign Urbana Reg Rehab Center for rehab and physical therapy. People can become engaged as they want, or are able to, and theyve had people in different stages of awareness. They have activities going on, but the meals are kind of bland across the board.

I wouldn’t keep my dog in this place. My brother is in a very depressed and dark place. His room was filthy! Floors were sticky, air conditioners has so much build up and mold in it, call button was tied to the bed underneath on the floor, not once but twice now. Laying in vomit and food. No water. Waited 10 minutes after call button and their were five nurses standing around the nurses station not doing anything!! Covid restrictions are a joke. Everyone half asses it.

Please do not take your loved one here. They didn't take care of my mom. She almost lost her leg because of them. This is the worst place.

Place is clean. The food is decent. Nursing and CNA staff are pleasant but not very efficient . Staffing ratio is horrible, barely to state limits. One nurse one cna for 15-20 patients. That would be fine if they didn't have to do admissions and discharges, answer the phone, take orders, etc. Time to answer the phone at the desk is 15 to 20 minutes.

Champaign Urbana is pretty good. I think the staff is okay but they’re very understaffed. My father has fallen several times and is often dirty. They seemed to have a communication problem with families. They do have a little lounge, and I’ve seen some people in the courtyard. A lot of the rooms are double rooms, but he’s alone in his room.

For the second time in as many years my mother is living at the center. She hates it. The food is awful; cold, tasteless, without condiments (i.e., French toast without butter or syrup, no salt or pepper, etc.). The center's management has no excuse for providing lousy food service to people who must undergo rehab or nursing care there.

My mother has been a resident of the rehab facility seven weeks and will continue another two weeks. The facility is very clean, all staff from nurses to cna's, therapy to dining are very kind and compassionate. My mother has had a wonderful stay has improved so much and will actually miss this facility when she returns home. Will highly recommend to any one needing short term rehab.

My mother has been a resident of the CURU for about three weeks, and aside from the not-so-good food, she has received excellent therapy and care there. The rehab unit is brand new and is very, very clean. They try to make it seem less like an institutional setting and make it more pleasant by assigning each room a theme. My mom's theme happens to be France. The staff there is very pleasant and very helpful. Mom loves her physical therapist. They have a beautiful courtyard that the residents can go to and sit and relax.
