I found Bickford of Quincy. Not only is that beautiful, it's a comfortable feeling. Everything is very well decorated, and it's just nice. It's not gloomy. There's a very nice restaurant where they eat, and in the living room they have really deep, soft couches and chairs, and it's just homey. The staff is young and energetic, they keep their residents moving. If it's not playing bingo or exercise or word games or some days, it's like the 4th of July. They have little fishing tournaments with fake fish. It's just special things every day. It just keeps them active. We have tried the food. They actually have a chef, the meals vary tremendously from day to day, and everyone's food is tailor made for their specific needs. If someone doesn't like salt or someone likes extra sugar, they take those extra steps to make that for them. The first invitation that we got was to Bickford and me, my two brothers, and my mother went to look at it, and we did not look any further. We liked it, so we just took it.

Everyone at Bickford of Quincy was so nice and caring. They also had very nice rooms. You got to bring in your own furniture, so that made it homey and they had all kinds of activities. They had a gentleman that came in and sang for everyone and played guitar. They also had crafting and different things. The staff was wonderful. They were really nice people. It was just a really wonderful place. They had reserved seating for each person at the dining area, so they sat at their own regular table, which I thought was really sweet. It was like a home away from home and I would recommend it to anyone.

My mom will be moving in at Bickford of Quincy by the end of November. I only met a few employees. The ones I met were very cordial, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facility is beautiful. They have a really nice area for group exercises and for people just sitting around talking with one another by a fireplace. It is very attractive and comfortable. They have a very nice looking dining room. As far as I can tell, they serve almost gourmet meals. My mom will be getting a studio. It has a small microwave, a small refrigerator, and a sink. She will have her own bathroom and a very large closet.

We toured Bickford of Quincy. It seemed nice. The staff seemed to be well-educated, trained, and helpful. The facility was a bit older and a little darker. They weren't as new and quite as nice. But it seemed like a nice place. They can improve it by maybe making it a little brighter somehow. It just wasn't quite as open.

I went to Bickford of Quincy for an in-person tour. It was very friendly and comfortable looking. It looked like a comfortable place to be. The staff was just so friendly and so helpful. It's very, very clean and very well maintained. It was decorated in a homey way. They did a lot of activities with seniors. The residents could choose what they wanted from a limited menu, so the meals weren't all the same. They have an open area where seniors could gather and watch TV and be outdoors. There's a very nice, comfortable space outside where they could sit and enjoy the outdoors. The residents were very friendly, comfortable, and content.

We went to the Bickford of Quincy. It was excellent, and we got an excellent tour with all the questions answered. It was comfortable, and it looked like a nice place. They showed us three different rooms, they were very nice, with plenty of closet space and nice bathrooms. Amy was very professional, very patient with us, and answered all questions.

I was at Bickford of Quincy. The overall experience was very good. The meals were very good, too. The people who assisted me after my surgery were very conscientious of it. Without their help I probably wouldn't have been able to leave so soon. They have handicapped accessible restrooms where I could easily get in and out. I had surgery on my foot and I couldn't put any weight on it for 13 weeks, so it was good to have a place where I could wheel around on my little scooter. There was plenty of room for me to do what I needed to do. The cost was very reasonable, too.

My visit with Bickford of Quincy was comforting. It was good. I liked that they offer three different sizes of apartments and that they were clean. When we saw the facility there wasn't anything going on. The facility was a retirement type of place. It was homey and very clean.

The apartment at Bickford of Quincy was small. There was one main window and then it opened out into the hall, so there wasn't a lot of wind there. The place was spotless and clean. It seemed to be very well-maintained and well-organized. I also like the location. There was no activities going on at the time, but they did tell me that they have a lot of activities. Their food was very good.

Bickford is really elegant and very friendly. They’re known to have a good reputation, but it’s a lot more expensive. The rooms have a little living area and a bedroom. The staff I met do a good job at caring. They have a garden, and they were planting flowers when I visited. The activities were average, and the food is good. The dining area is really nice, and the people eat together.

Bickford of Quincy is very nice. Small, homelike enviroment. All the caregivers are certified and knowledgable. i felt very comfortable there. The apartments are just the right size and are furnished by the resident so it makes it their own. I would recommmend it to anyone!

I went to look at Bickford of Quincy, and the facility is not luxurious, but was very nice. The people there were very nice also. The facility was very clean, and I think there were no problems in that area.

I started looking at Bickford first for my mother-in-law. It's brand new, really nice, and clean. They set up the rooms with a hospital bed. I would call their services as long-term nursing care. They have nursing staff on call 24 hours a day, taking care of individual patients. People come in and give folks bath and showers, as well as medication. The facility is fairly expensive but it's not the most expensive. It runs about $1500 a month for private pay. In the end though, the owner, whom I knew, said the facility is not what I'm looking for because my mother-in-law is still independent.
