The tour at The Grand at Twin Lakes was very nice. The people were very nice. They had quite a few nice amenities. They had a pool, a gym, a nice theater, and a library, but it was too far. They had a nice baby grand in the lobby.

They showed my brother a room on the 1st floor with furniture and a tv. Well we pay $40 a month extra for that. And then they gave me a room on the 5th floor, we came from Missouri so I had to take it.. Food is the same most days. Good thing we get choices, not much, but choices.workers a great they come to do housekeeping once a week. The activities are good.

The Grand at Twin Lakes was beautiful. I loved it. I liked the layout, the design, the brightness, and the attentiveness of the people. They have an indoor pool and a beautiful patio. They have units with a balcony, too, which is lovely. On their lowest level, they have a movie theater that has movie seats and a huge screen and a kitchen where if I wanted to go there and cook meals with my dad or for my family, I could. They also have little rooms that you could have for family gatherings, a library, and a coffee bar where they do happy hour. There were so many people out in their community rooms just sitting and reading. It's just lovely and bright.

We had an in-person tour of The Grand at Twin Lakes. I highly recommend this facility. It was absolutely beautiful, but it was far more expensive. The director who gave us the tour was very helpful in answering our questions and showing us several different room options and amenities, including a movie theater and a swimming pool. The amenities that the facility had were really impressive. Everything was laid out beautifully and very appealing.

We went to The Grand at Twin Lakes. It was not anywhere near the quality of the other place we visited. They don't take long-term care insurance and we have long-term care insurance, so that was kind of a nonstarter. The swimming pool was nice, but the fitness center was kind of small and not as well equipped as the other place. They only had one-bedroom places, and that was kind of a nonstarter for us. We needed a two-bedroom. It was much smaller. It looked like it was an older building. We saw people having lunch when we were there, but we didn't get a menu. You have to pay for all the utilities. There is a significant difference in price with the other place. For two people at the other place, it's $6300 a month whereas, at The Grand at Twin Lakes, it's $2900 a month, but the other place seemed much newer, much more up-to-date, and was a much friendlier situation. The staff during the tour was very good.

Please be aware this an independent facility and should not be considered assisted living. I am a current resident and if you are considering moving here come at a time when residents are active, usually dinner times, 4 pm and 5 pm.

I went to Grand Twin Lakes. I liked everything about it except they only had one-bedrooms in the place. They were a place that had been converted from a hotel to a senior living, and I like that very much. I saw a couple of the staff. The staff was great. It was clean. It looked great except they didn't have rooms in terms of this kind of space that I would like to have. It felt nice. The people there were nice. It was extremely clean and well-thought-out. My sister and I both liked it, but it was too small, and they just had one-bedrooms. Included in the rent was all meals and you got cleaning. But it felt more like assisted. The rooms looked brand new and felt brand new. The dining area was wide open. The impression I have of the whole place is that it's well-lit, and the part I saw had a lot of windows. They have activities. They had a fitness room and there were lots of activities for the residents. They have a place where they show movies at certain times, and they have a heated pool, a fitness center, and a game room. I saw some of the residents and they looked as if they were happy there. It was nice, but it didn't suit my needs. The staff I met were very nice.

The Grand is a hidden "Gem" the 1 bedroom apartment was huge and beautiful - You can fix a King size bed and bed room set, the bathroom had double sinks and step in shower, the kitchen was big and open with a lot of cabinet space, dishwasher, stove and refrigerator and microwave. The Grand provides 3 meals a day, there is a pool, exercise room and a BIG Theatre. The Grand Bar is open daily from 3-5 and The Grand is pet friendly.

We looked at a studio at The Grand at Twin Lakes, because that was within my friend's price range, and it was a good size and there was plenty of storage. It was a nice little studio apartment. They have a pool, which was nice, and they also have the meals provided. Their downstairs had all the lobbies, the community rooms, dining room, and stuff, and they were more of an upscale hotel. The person who toured us was very helpful and wasn't pushy. She answered questions and she seemed very genuine.

We moved into The Grand at Twin Lakes. I chose this because my daughter's boyfriend's grandma is here. My daughter had been here, and she really liked it, so we went on a tour. They've got zero Covid here, which was important to me. They do all the testings. One of the things I was concerned about was price, and I was able to negotiate quite a deal here. The other issue was medication and just general things that an assisted living place would give you. They don't take insurance, but my insurance actually turned me into almost an assisted type living person. I have a daily nurse if needed, and all the things that truly an assisted living will give you. They've got a pool, a beautiful courtyard, and a couple of lakes for fishing. It is really a nice place. The director, Kelly, is very, very nice. I just got the approval through my insurance and my PCP for home health, near assisted living conditions, if needed. Placing was a concern, and they were very, very accommodating. Internally, they have their own nursing staff with their helping capabilities, and they have a doctor's office here. They also have a gym and open dining. The people are very, very friendly. You are not dealing with a population of wheelchairs. There are more walkers, and the freedom is nice. The ability to go places is nice. Their indoor activities are nice. They test for Covid weekly, and we're on the list for vaccinations. Their overall pricing is definitely compatible with what I was looking for. They have 24-hour service at the door. The staff is really sweet and nice. I am coming from a nursing home that is excellent and I would have to say that the nursing home has a little bit better food, but they have choices here. It is three meals a day except on the weekends where there's brunch and dinner. You can pretty much order anything you need, and they have their specials of the day. The facility is beautiful and very well kept. Weekly housekeeping comes into your abode. I happen to be in a studio and their maintenance as far as the housekeeping goes is great. The one thing that I was a little shy about was the laundry. They do laundry, which would be an extra fee, and it is a little outrageous. It is not a problem as far as getting in and out. The studios come with a pretty decent size refrigerator, a nice closet, and you got to bring your own TV. The dining area is nice and open, but if you want to have it delivered to your room, you can and there are many different options. The grounds are immaculate. There's mahjong for the ladies, there's poker available for the guys, and bingo for everybody. There are outings, which is very limited right now. They took a busload of people to see the lights the other day. They do store outings, and they provide rides to doctors if your doctor is outside of the facility. There are no grumpy people here. It is a 5-story, and you can furnish your room or if you're lucky enough, they might be able to furnish some of it for you. I was lucky enough that they furnished it for me, but the bed was way too big for the room, so I ended up purchasing my own bed.

We did a face-to-face tour at The Grand at Twin Lakes. It was very good. I liked it very much. I liked the small size. There are a number of independent living places in this area where I am right now, but they're so big with 800 residents, and I'm not interested in them. The lady that I talked to was excellent and did a very good job. The apartments were similar to others that I've seen. What's nice about this place is it's fairly new. It was a hotel at one time. They redid it to accommodate the independent living. They have either studio or one-bedroom apartments, and the one-bedrooms were nice. The grounds were very pretty. There was a nice outdoor area where you could sit and walk around.

We selected The Grand at Twin Lakes for my brother. It's just a beautiful place, my brother is really enjoying his time there, his room is a studio apartment, and it's huge, it's big. Anyone that I've met has been very friendly and helpful, they answer any questions you have, and my brother seems to be liking them all. My brother says the food is really good. They have puzzles that are up in 4 different places, and people go there often during the day.

The Grand is a new place, just two years old. My impression was good. It is in a nice location. There were some activities going on. The lady who was in charge of greeting people and giving them the tour was very good. The dining area was nice and good, too. This community was very open. There were lots of windows and it felt like it was a bright open place. The fact that it joins up to the forest reserve is another good selling point. I didn't expect it to be right next to a forest reserve, which is very nice. It is an area where you can walk.

The Grand at Twin Lakes was very nice and clean. Almost every community room there was going to be remodeled and upgraded. They had a little bit of everything, so if you're interested in something, they have it. They offered two meals a day.

We toured the Grand at Twin Lakes, and it was fine. The staff was courteous and friendly. The facility is newly remodeled, it's a renovated hotel, and the rooms are the size of hotel rooms. They have a swimming pool, courtyards, and a nature preserve next door. The activities are similar to most other places, and they have things like puzzles, crafts, and cooking. It's a nice place.

The Grand at Twin Lakes looked clean and impressed me a lot. If a resident is not a morning person, they have the option to choose lunch and dinner for their food instead. They had activities, nice grounds, a TV room, and a pool, al of which I thought was nice. The person who assisted me was very good and knowledgeable. I saw the residents having lunch, and the food looked good.

My mom is living in The Grand at Twin Lakes and doing great. It seems to be a good fit. Her room is brand new, very clean, very nice, and very adequate. She is happy with it. They have a swimming pool, cooking classes, exercise, meet-and-greets, happy hour, and movies. I have eaten there a couple of times, and food is very good.

My sister is in The Grand at Twin Lakes. It has been a positive experience for her. She seems to be doing OK there. Her room is nice, but it could be more handicapped accessible than it is because she is in a wheelchair. They have done a lot to accommodate her. She seems to enjoy the facility. They are just starting out, so I guess the menu will get better when they get closer to the capacity of the building. They are supposed to have a way for them to get around to more stores and shopping, but that has not really materialized yet.
