I went to tour Monarch Landing. It's very big and very lovely. I would like to live there, but it's expensive. The prices of the apartment are expensive. The apartments are very large, and everything is included as well. They have one meal a day. They supply appliances. The only thing they don't supply is the furniture. The appliances are top-of-the-line. The staff who took me around was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. They gave us lunch and the food was very good. They have a very beautiful pool. They have lots of property. There's a wooded area. It's a very lovely place if you can afford it.

My husband and I have lived at Monarch Landing for 3½ years and are very, very happy that we moved here. Yes, it has many amenities, a large selection of apartments that you can personalize, a friendly staff, and loads of things to do (active and not-so-active). So, what makes us different from other independent living communities in the area? Super-friendly residents. We have made many more friends here in over 3 years than we have in 40+ years living in Naperville. Join a club, committee or simply have dinner with someone, and you’ll have a friend. Walk down the hallway and everyone says, “Good morning” or “Hi! How are you?” Many say that they chose to live at Monarch Landing after looking at other facilities simply because this was the place with the friendliest residents. Don't wait to move here until you “need” the advantages of living here. If you do, you’ll miss out on so much. I am convinced that living here with all our friends will extend our lifespans.

My parents moved to Monarch Landing in 2014. And, it was a blessed foresight as we lost my dad in 2015. I don’t have to worry about my mom living alone. She has so many amenities, neighbors and staff to answer to her every need ... from a salon to restaurant style eating facilities right onsite. When she needed physical therapy, they were onsite either to come directly to her or for her to go downstairs to a workout room. Monarch Landing is the answer to the question of where would you want your parents to live out their golden years.

Monarch Landing was nice and had a lot of the amenities that I want, like covered parking, a pool, a fitness lab, lots of activities to choose from, and friendly people. I liked the apartments and everything about it.

We selected Monarch Landing. It has wonderful floor plan selections, and we found one that fits our needs. We have a lot of amenities that go along with the facility. They’re very active group. We have Catholic-faith and inter-faith groups here, plus a lot of card clubs, bridge, pinochle, and poker. If you’re bored, then it’s your own fault. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating to us. We have been here for about a month or so. The food is so wonderful that I’m putting on weight. It is so good. I can’t be happier with this place; I really can’t.

My aunt is a resident at Monarch Landing and she was very happy there. The staff was very nice to her. I saw their dining room and it was always quite impressive. They place has a computer room, a gymnasium, a swimming pool so it was quite extensive.

Monarch Landing was a nice place, but they only offer apartments they don?t offer town houses and I want a town house.

Monarch Landing was very nice, but we didn't like their pricing policies. They tended to nickel and dime you. They had their base prices, but everything would cost you this much, i.e., if you want some cleaning. The staff was fine, and the people were nice. I have no complaints about it. There were just too many add-ons in their services, more so than other places. There's not as much included in the basic monthly fees.

I visited Monarch Landing. The apartments were very nice and very big. The staff was accommodating, professional, and very nice. The food was good. I don't know if they had breakfast, but they had lunch and dinner. They had a lot of activities. They had a nice big pool, a hot tub, and a fair amount of exercise equipment. Their continuing care was recently opened, but I didn't not see any nurses or doctors. However, it was pretty expensive, and it had an extra fee for different services. I would recommend it to others. If they could afford it, it was very nice.

We were very pleased with our visit at Monarch Landing. The surroundings were fine and we have no complaints whatsoever. This facility is one of our number one choices that we have. I like the environment as they have friendly people. They also have very good food. The apartment we saw was the kind of an apartment that we would like to live. We really rank this facility very high.

Monarch Landing was pretty well run. My grandfather was certainly very vibrant mentally, but he required physical living assistance that we could not provide. Monarch landing was clean and pretty independent, but often the service providers underestimated his ability to perform certain tasks, or they doubted his mental abilities. They were very kind and patient, however, especially to patients who needed greater care. The rooms were big and offered many amenities, and there were exercise and other fun activities so that residents did not get bored and had something to look forward to. The workers maintained a very upbeat attitude and I truly believe that the residents were inspired by their example. Many of the residents themselves created friendships with others, and they would dine together or otherwise create their schedules to match each others'. Although we felt guilty about putting my grandfather in a home, Monarch Landing made the decision much easier for us because of their kindness, and their proximity to our town was great.
