I toured this facility last weekend. I will say I was completely shocked with just how bad the tour was. When I first arrived the marketing director, Mackenzie sat us down handed me the informational packed and said "here are out prices and information about us, any questions?" I was expecting her to go in depth and share more from her personal experience about the facility, the time with her was hard to get through as she didn't ask much about my loved one and I was really the only one pulling the conversation along. Then, as we were on our tour almost the entire time, I did not see any nurse or CNA, until the very end of our tour the two CNA's were sitting down with the residents watching a movie. Mind you, we walked around for a good 30-40 mins, in that whole time they were never rounding on the residents in their room, there was no one cleaning, residents were just left to wander the facility with what seemed as no care or direction from the staff. We walked past a few residents that had visibly wet pants, smelled horrendous, and the rooms were so unclean. One resident had some type of liquid all over her floor and I could only imagine how long it had been sitting there. Also, the whole courtyard is enclosed because it is in the middle of the building. They have a code & lock on the door so the residents have to ask to go outside. How many dementia patients that have lost their ability to speak, have you seen formulate that they want to go outside? I'm sorry but each resident is an adult and should have the free will to go out into the courtyard when they want during a reasonable hour. Maybe the facility could put a bell on the door so every time is opens, the staff knows a resident has gone to the courtyard. They also have these little red buttons behind the doors in the room that the resident is to push if they need help. Again, I know my loved one with dementia and they would not be able to remember where the button is, or that they need to press it for help, it's a completely pointless idea. Instead, they should have their staff actually rounding on their residents and checking in with them as often as possible. I did not think my review would be this long, but seeing this place and the basically neglect of their residents, I had to say something. I would not ever send my loved one here and if you have a loved one here, I don't think they are getting the best care. Residents should not be left to sit in their own waste, they also should be enjoying their time with the caregivers not wasting away the day in front of a television screen.

We just moved my father due to lack of care. When we could see my father his clothes, shoes and face were always dirty. I have pictures and I sent 1 to the director and he never responded. My father would have blood under his fingernails. Before covid I witnessed several things such as a resident had his pants on backwards so they kept falling to the ground. This went on for quite a while. The staff laughed at him. I went upfront and reported it. On another occasion I witnessed a resident that kept asking for help. They ignored her and then finally just went and put her in her room. Frontier assured us that they were going to operate with more activities. The only thing I witnessed on the supportive side was poor Jamie (very caring employee) talking to and reading the paper with residents. Very few of the staff is still there. I lost all trust due to lack of communication! My delay in moving was covid but I just couldn't leave my Dad there any longer!

My loved one is currently here. I am extremely impressed. It's only a 2-3-year-old facility. Dogs are on-site since pets sometimes can have a calming effect. Meals are extremely good. The staff is extremely friendly. It's more of a family environment.

I chose this community because they have a caring, professional, loving, and spiritual staff. Everybody knows how to handle the residents with memory issues, from the maintenance people, to the aids, to the people at the desk. Everybody is trained there, and they’re so loving and caring, which is so amazing. They also care for the families and the caregivers that brought the residents in, so there’s a lot of connections with the family.

I went to visit my uncle who was just admitted there and was so pleasantly surprised to see how interactive the staff was with the residents. What a positive place!!! Most especially, it was immaculate, no smells and definitely was an inviting place to visit. The residents I saw seem well-adjusted and treated with kindness, respect and dignity. The best part of of it was the interaction that the three in-house dogs had with the residents. The dogs were calm, gentle and happy dogs and interacted well amongst the residents. I also learned there is an in-house cat named Steve. I'm so relieved to see that my uncle will be a part of this community where I feel he will be at peace with himself and that his family will also be relieved to know he's in a safe place where he's treated with kindness and respect.

We moved dad here. It’s a new facility just for memory care. They just opened last December. We came to know about them because they sent my mom a postcard letting her know that they were opening and inviting her to an open house. The facility feels much less of an institution. They have a philosophy of improving the quality of life of people who have dementia and focusing on what they can do and not on what they can't do; providing a very nurturing and pleasant environment. He is getting good therapy there. Dad is in a shared room so it's a room with two beds and a bathroom. They also have single room where you would have just one room and your own bathroom. It’s all in one level which is another advantage. The staff is very professional, compassionate, and dad is getting good care. They have a lot of activities planned. Their philosophy is that you should keep people like my dad busy and engaged during the day and they do a really good job in doing that. I would highly recommend this facility.
