Arbor Terrace Glenview is a beautiful new facility. It was just built in 2019. The rooms were very nice, and then they have an opening for a room at the moment, so that's helping me. That place, however, seemed much quieter. It was more of a quiet community. They have a whole lot of things scheduled, but they weren't happening when we were going on the tour. Everything was brand new, and it was much brighter. The decorations were more gray and white, which is much lighter and not quite as dark as some of the other places. The sales director was phenomenal, very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very accommodating. The facility itself, because of the fact that it's only a couple of years old, is lovely.

My mom is a resident of Arbor Terrace Glenview. I think it's a great fit. I was very pleased with the administration. She's only been there two weeks and I'm hoping that it moves forward. Their staff is kind but professional. They're clean. They're new, only two years old. It's close to home. For those reasons, I feel like it was a good fit for me. There was one lady I had a little issue with on their staff. They have outings, and they have flower making. I know she likes doing that. They went to Portillo's, but she wasn't interested.

I’ve been unfortunate to look for a place for both my parents over the years. Lately, it seems that these memory facilities don’t provide what you want for your loving parents. Finally, I was lucky to connect with Lisa from Arbor Terrace and I’ve been extremely happy with what I’m seeing. The facility is the best that I’ve seen in Illinois and Wisconsin. If you have a hard decision to make, take a look at Arbor Terrace.

Arbor Terrace Glenview have memory care and assisted living. I would consider it high class. The rooms were all very clean and very nice. The staff who gave me the tour was very good. She was very nice. Their dining area was very nice. It was very high class. From what we observed, they keep the people busy. They have different kind of programs there, but I don't know what they were. We thought it was very, very nice. We're not used to that kind of living. It really was not anything for my husband.

I went to Arbor Terrace Glenview. The whole turnoff there was that the little bedrooms didn't have full kitchens, just a microwave. The units we saw were two stories. It's a newer property, and they provide everything. They provide all the meals. We didn't taste any food. We just talked to the staff. She gave us a really good tour. She was very, very nice, but it didn't work out. She was very knowledgeable and very, very kind. I liked her. The dining area was really, really nice because it's a brand new facility. It was a little quiet though. They didn't have that interaction with people. It was a smaller place. Because of COVID, there was that long break. We saw one lady there, that's all. It seemed like pretty deserted and very ghostly. It was very fancy, though. The property was very beautiful, but it's missing that social aspect. The staff introduced us to the activities director. She showed us the room where they engage and do arts and all that, but we didn't see people. We didn't see residents walking about. It was pretty quiet. It's nothing against the place; it just wasn't a fit for her. It's very clean and very nice.
