My brother has moved into Sunset Rehabilitation & Health Care. Everything seems very clean and organized. They are all very helpful with everything. They're always there for any questions you have or anything that my brother needs. Some furniture needs some updating, but it's very clean. The hallways are always clear for everybody to get through. For activities, they were doing puzzles, they had some karaoke and then they were doing some crafts one day to put outside or hang in their windows.

My grandfather needed to be placed quickly, and the person in charge admitted him quickly once they knew the situation. He had been adamant about staying at home as long as he could, but he started falling more frequently and needed round the clock care. The room is very clean, as is the rest of the facility from what I have seen. It's kept clean without that strong order that I've noticed at other facilities, which makes it easier for me to visit as I'm sensitive to scents. The staff have been very caring and good to him, and he is very appreciative of all they do. He's getting good food and they check in on him frequently. He regales them with stories of local history and often tells them things about their own family history if they're from the area. They've also been very helpful when I've asked them questions or requested that they do things for my grandpa (such as hooking up his TV). There is a facility cat and she likes to check in on the patients as well. My grandpa loves animals, so it's nice that he still gets to interact with one. He gets three square meals a day, plus snacks. There is an outdoor patio area for the patients to enjoy, as well as a lunch room. There is also a rehab room, with various therapy items to aid in recovery for those who wish to use it. I'm sure that there are other amenities, but due to COVID things aren't quite as open as they normally would be.

My mother was a resident of this facility. She was sent her from the hospital to recover from congestive heart failure. Her orders stated that she was to receive a low sodium diet. However when my sister went to visit she saw them give my mother a sloppy Joe and chips with ketchup to eat. The last week of my mother's life she gained 28 lbs in a week. She was released and not even 5 mins later died from heart failure going into her home. Since then we have been trying to get records to no avail. I would definitely not recommend this facility

MY experience is I've visited attended many different activities here for the residents employees and community I was free to view the facility its clean warm friendly and caring.the employees are like family if you dont have any they welcome you. I'm a personal assistant I've had client's here temporarily due to stairs in the homes. In MY opinion this is a good healthy environment. If I had to stay or put a friend or relatives here I'd do it if I had to stay this is where I'd choose to stay. I love the staff night and day.the food that's offered is good also. Nothing like the past when food had to be blan or no taste. Housekeeping staff is friendly also. Rooms are clean quiet and personalized. This is the place to be when you are in need.
