My sister is at the Citadel of Bourbonnais. I like it most because of the convenience of visiting there. It's not that far for my brother to go see my sister. What I don't like about it is that some of the long-term care people there were kind of scary. They were shouting, screaming, and swearing. It's just a little out of control. They have a lot of events going on to get them interacting and socializing with the rest of the residents. They also have outings where they can go out and get their hair cut. They take their bus and go on outings. Every time I've had to talk to a nurse I've never had a problem with what I'm asking them to do. My grandkids love it because they go there. According to the menu, every time I read it, it sounded great.
