My grandpa stays here and is very happy. The staff are very kind and loving, most have been there over ten years. They treat each other and him like family. It is very cheap to stay here, but you get more than a bed, you get LOVE.

This place is a disgrace! My relative had numerous falls, most of which were never reported to the family. When we were finally able to get him out of that horrible place it was very evident that he had been severely neglected.

Not happy with staff, I've worked hog lots that are cleaner, very unhappy with the place. Coming from a small farm town you think it would be a little more pleasant, bring a family member gifts then they mysteriously comes up missing little fed up , instead of talking to local p.d. I have friends in higher places.

Horrible Place! My relative had to go there because they were the only place that would take him because of the virus. They broke his glasses, they took away his phone and tablet and he's been without glasses since he was transferred there. They put him in the dementia unit which is smelly and dirty, even though he doesn't have any behavior problems. The staff seems clueless and they only have a registered nurse once a week and a doctor once a month! We arraigned to get him moved, but they didn't do the COV tests they were supposed to, and now we have no transportation for him and they still haven't done the tests. The funny thing is, his benefits run out in a few days and they can start billing him as a private patient. We just want him out of that terrible place.

Horrible place. I'm so glad we went to a lot of trouble moving my father before he passed away. With very little life left in his body, he told us to "Get me out of here!" The place is rundown, smelly, and disorganized. It was shameful. We got him moved but not without a lot of grief from the administration and their staff. Some of the staffing was great, others was just clueless. The Director of Nursing was very rude to my father's fiance which there is absolutely no excuse for. The Director of Nursing should spend less time being rude to patient's families and more time on making this nursing home a better place for these folks and their families. This place should be an absolute last resort for anyone with the current administration.

It's so sad These old people are so sad all the time. I went to this ladies room and they have her in isolation because of a UTI. Then the nurses put her in her chair and walked away. Didn't ask if she needed anything or if she was comfortable. So being the person that I am I asked her. And she told me " I need a pillow because my neck hurts." So I said okay and got her a pillow and set it behind her neck. She said "thank you... the nurses here don't care about us. They just do their job and go. I hate this place." So I sat with her and helped her with whatever else she needed. I'm not a nurse nor a CNA. But if I have to do other people's job there is something wrong. These residents need to be taken care of. They need to be comfortable. This is their last stop. And none of their family wanted to take care of them so they're stuck here. The Nurses need to be better to them.

We placed my grandmother at Aledo Rehab and Health Care Center. They are the least expensive, and I am really impressed with the care that they provide. Their CNAs are wonderful; they have adopted my grandmother as their own. The nursing staff is very attentive; they try and make things as easy on her as they can. The administrator was wonderful, explaining a lot of the things that they do provide and the ways that we can make things easier on her. The only thing that this home actually needs is a remodel. It looks terrible, but it is an excellent home. It has that institutional feel to it where most nursing homes nowadays have more of a homey feel. I think it really just needs a remodel.
