My mom is staying at Streamside Assisted Living. They seem to have a shortage of staff a lot, especially when it comes down to personal hygiene care. I always have to remind them to give my mom a shower. The staff that they do have is great. Their food has a decent variety. They have a patio area, but it's not very used well. Their clientele is really older, so it's mainly 80 and up. There's not a lot of younger people in this assisted facility. They have a really small outside area for them, so I'd say that could be improved. They used to have activities, but then their activity director left. They got a new activity director, and they don't really do anything with them. They have somebody coming in every once in a while who plays music for them, so it's pretty limited. We chose it because they had availability when we were looking, and they were close to our house.

We toured. We were impressed with their facility, and the man that gave us the introduction and took us through the facility did really well. The people that were working there all were smiling and enjoying doing what they were doing.
