Adequate Very Good Being Outside Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Fenced Courtyards, Activities Room, Dining Area I had a very good experience, with a very friendly staff that were good at their jobs and worked hard to meet mine and my family’s needs. All in all I can’t think of anything they could have done better especially during the time of COVID. Thank you staff of Life Care of Idaho Falls, especially my wound care nurse. She made it possible for me to return home.

My father in law was there for several weeks. He said the nursing and CNA staff were amazing, had great personalities, and honestly cared about him. The wound care team is amazing, the best in town. Everyone treated him with dignity and respect. Over all he said the food was good and that is saying something because he is a picky eater.

I was a resident of Lifer Care Center of Idaho Falls. It’s good and very nice. I would rate it all satisfactory. The food is sometimes good, but most of the time, it is not. The staff is very responsive and really impressed me.

Life Care was where an older friend of mine died two years ago, and that was very basic kind of place. The aides were all very young girls from a tech college program, but everyone was very nice and very solicitous. I think she has good care there, she is content, and what I like best is they gave my dear friend very good care.

In my many visits to the life care center due to my activities with a local church I have come to the conclusion that it is not a place in which I would like to live, nor would I send my parents there if required. As negative as this statement seems, however, there are no major flaws with this care facility, but rather a lack of any real draw to live there. The residents are well treated and don't suffer at the hands of their benefactors, but the facilities are somewhat old and they don't seem to have the activities and amenities of other care centers in the area. One even provides massages for the residents! The staff at the Life Care Center seems competent and aloof; I have never heard any complaints about them from those with whom I have visited. Really, the only complaint I have heard is the lack of activities, the non-variation of day to day life and the age of the facilities. If they increased the amount of various activities and perhaps moved to a newer building with a larger outdoor area, I would definitely consider living there in my later years.
