My wife is at Ivy Court. It's pretty good. She receives high level of care. I got to know the people very well, and they took very good care of her. I made some good friends. A couple of times the staff gave me something to eat, like on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they were good meals. They have an activity department, and they provide music, movies, popcorn, ice cream socials, puzzles, drawing classes, and coloring classes. They would ask my wife if she wanted to go to the music or whatever. They don't force anybody to go and do any of these things, but they always went around and asked people if they wanted to do it, and those that did, they would make sure that they went to it. The physical facility is in dire need of remodeling. It's an old building. They have two maintenance people, but they have a hard time keeping up with everything. But I would have to say that they make sure that everything that needed to be running was running appropriately.

Ivy Court told our family that our family member was the next on the list and had been approved to move into Ivy Court when a room came available. After almost 6 months, we received a text message saying her acceptance was being cancelled. For six months we waited and didn't look elsewhere anymore because she had been accepted there and now we are at the beginning again with no reason for being rejected. Her current home has had her packing for two months under the impression she was moving. Our hearts are broken.

After having a massive heart attack with heart failure, I was discharged to Ivy Court for rehab services. Despite my cardiologist placing me on a low sodium, low fat diet, Ivy Court served me foods high in both salt and fat. My first meal was fried potatoes with grilled sausage and sauteed bell peppers. My lunch the following day was a corn dog with chilli fries. Even after speaking with administration and the lady in charge of food service I was continually served foods high in fat and salt.

This place is an outstanding facility to re hab in. Clean, fairly good food, wonderful staff. Nice hard working nurses, excellent P/T and twice weekly on site doctor who knows what she's doing. I highly recommend it.

My friend is at Ivy Court for rehab and he seemed to like the facility very much. The facility seemed little cramped to me. Their rooms are basically two patients in a room, but it's spacious.
