My mom is still in a rehab facility right now because she broke her hip. She is at Arbor Valley of Cascadia. It is adequate; it is okay. The room is okay. However, when I went outside to give my mom some outside time on the patio, it was not good. The grass was overgrown with weeds. The patio area wasn't kept up very well. The staff is good. They're nice. My mom is incapacitated. She's there for rehab on her legs so she doesn't participate in any of the activities. And she's got memory issues, so she can't do activities. She does physical therapy, and it's very good. They're helping her a lot. They also do occupational therapy. However, the food isn't very good. It's kind of plain and not that tasty.

My brother was at Arbor Valley of Cascadia for two years, and I think they did a good job. They took good care of him and tended to his needs pretty well. I think the place was reasonably clean and well kept, but like every nursing home, they're understaffed. I haven't visited very many, but I am kind of familiar with the situation because I used to work in that area a long time ago. I think they still did a good good job as can be expected.
