My husband recently spent two weeks at The Lodge following being hospitalized for the flu and pneumonia. He received excellent care. All the staff were very friendly and attentive to his needs. Therapist had him up and walking in just a few days.. They continued working with him until he became independent. Again, everyone was very nice and seemed like their cared. The facility was extremely clean and cared for. Thanks to everyone for taking such good care of our loved one. He did say he was glad to get home to his bed..

My mother stayed at the Lodge. She went there for physical therapy, and then I had to move her to assisted living because she couldn't stay there anymore for insurance reasons. But Tthe Lodge was a wonderful place. It was quiet and clean. The food looked fine. My mother ate well when she was there, until she started going down. You could stay past 6:00, but after 6:00 you couldn't get in without somebody letting you in. They just locked the doors at 6:00, and that was an issue because we were working and we couldn't get there in time, so we always had to find somebody to let us in. But you could stay past 6:00, but you just couldn't get in after 6:00, and I didn't like that. The common spaces were very large. My mother shared a room with somebody, but it was pretty comfortable. You didn't even really hear the other person, even though it was just a curtain separating the two beds. It was nice. It was a very large space. My interactions with the staff were always pleasant. Everybody seemed very nice and very kind.

My mother is at The Lodge. She's been there for a couple of months now. When she first got there, she was under short-term care because of hip surgery. The care was nice for a couple of weeks and then when she had to go into long-term care because she can't walk, the care went down. They're understaffed. The qualified CNAs seemed like they leave. The ones that can communicate with the people leave. We're missing a couple of ladies that used to be able to communicate with my mom because she has dementia. They're gone. The cook left. I was told the other day they got a new cook. Her room is OK. When she first got there, she had a private room, and then once she became long-term, she had a roommate. The roommate is perfect for her because her roommate is quiet. It's just the service isn't very good. Maintenance is fair. We go there every day and we had to tell them not to wash her clothes. We'll wash her clothes because sometimes clothes come up missing. They clean the room quite a bit. Her air-conditioner went out, but they have another type of ventilation system. They're supposed to turn her every two hours. We have to keep reminding them of what they have to do. I was told that's going to happen with most nursing care facilities. The food is fair. A lot of her food is pureed. Some of it has a taste, some of it doesn't. Mashed potatoes and vegetables are OK. The meat which they puree is not very good. It's a big facility with wide halls. They don't have too many places for the people to go, like an outside environment. They need more staffing. In the long-term care section, they need people that understand and can communicate with the elderly because most of them can't hear well. You have to speak loud. You got to explain to them, especially people with dementia, what you're doing to them. They don't have any people like that, so when we're there, we have to say, "You got to talk a little louder. My mom has dementia. She doesn't understand why you're doing that." They need more training for the staff.

First & for most let me say . The Rehab employees are great, they know what they are doing ! with that being said. the rest goes down hill. was there for 1 month, the dr, was on vacation. never saw a dr. only so called nurses. that dont know or care what they are doing. Never Never Answered the call button, to see what you wanted, sometimes had to wait over 1/2 hour before anyone would come to room & see what you needed. Had to lay with poop sometime for over 1 hour, finally told them my issue, and they said, i would have to wait for all the food was delivered to other patients, before they would change my diaper. this is when i was bed bound, and could not do for myself. and just once i wish they would get my food order correct ! food sat in hallway some time over 1/2-3/4 of a hour before they took to rooms, COLD FOOD ALL THE TIME. EMPLOYEES in hallway right where food was & they are on there cell phones, or loud laughting. never caring about paitience wants or needs. i took a snap shot of milk in carton that had expired. asked for manager of kitchen, and gave her the expired milk, she of course said she was sorry. also took a snap shot of my coffee curddling from bad milk. only 1 nurse on duty per shift per floor. for approx. 18-25 patients. the aids are just horrible. they are only there for there paycheck. much much more horror story, but i advise to visit facility before you make any decision , it looks very nice, but since the original owner passed away, ppl say this place has really gone down hill. and the weekends, you may have 1-2 aids & again 1 nurse per floor.

My husband ended up in the hospital and they sent him to The Lodge in Warner Robins for rehabilitation. It is wonderful. I love it, but they don't have a bed for the long term right now. He's been here twice before. I like the fact that they're very attentive to my husband, and the food is good here. What I like least is they don't have a telephone in each room. The staff joke with my husband and they just seem to really care about their patients. The food is very good. He's never been able to use the amenities because if he gets well enough, they may send them home. They have a couple of courtyards. They have a place for the family to gather and eat. They have games and puzzles and today they had some sort of pageant.

Last week, the housekeeping staff threw all my Pop's personal belongings into the trash by accident. 12-14 bank cards, cash, an expensive camera, his clothes, his Military ID, and many other items. The "Administrator" Debbie told me to call a lawyer. They won't compensate him, nor will they help me with the replacement of all these items.

The Lodge in Warner Robins is very nice and very clean, and they're very caring to my husband. They have a lot of activities, but he doesn't like to participate in them. He likes to stay in bed all the time. He says that the food is very good, though, which surprised me. He got a bedsore and they called me immediately to tell me that the doctor had already looked at it and had given him some medication for it. I was really pleased with that. They do physical therapy but my husband doesn't do that. All he wants to do is stay in bed. As for visitations, at the end of the building there's a place where you can meet your loved one and they can come outside. If you have a dog, you can take the dog out there too.

The facility is beautiful and well maintained. Doesn't have that nursing home smell that greet you at the door. Rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and work hard at keeping the patients happy. I have seen other facilities and they don't come close to the Lodge.

My wife was patient there for 4 weeks undergoing therapy for stroke. The good - RN’s good. Facility clean, Nurses ok, food ok. The bad - understaffed or poor quality of CNI’s. One CNI was rough in handling the patient who was my wife during transfer from wheelchair to bed. The ugly - my wife was left in her feces for 2 hrs after family members advised staff in hall. During this time she smelled and was still taken to therapy and finally cleaned when returned. She had a UTI shortly afterwards and had 2 weeks of pure mental torment from advancement of infection along w/ significant stress to the family. Took over a week to get antibiotics started after advising nurse of her having symptoms and antibiotics did not help. Had to take her to local hospital to get infection cleared up. There is no excuse for leaving a patient in her own feces for 2 hrs. Likely caused the UTI. Explanation of administration was only being sorry and family not given any plans on their part to resolve for future. This was no way to treat a human being.

No diabetic menu. Quite often gives diabetics canned fruit which is loaded w sugar, then turns around and has to give insulin shots to get glucose levels back down. Poor management of food choices for diabetics. Under staffed and slow to respond to needs when nurse call buttons are pressed. Cleanliness of bathroom facilities in rooms is haphazard. PT and OT staff are great... except on weekends when none is provided to most.

The Lodge is amazing! I cant express how wonderful they were to my Grandmother. She went there for rehab after an injury and the staff treated her like family. It is a beautiful facility and the food was excellent. My grandmother actually gained weight while staying there. She would rave about the dessert cart that they bring out at lunch and dinner each day. The therapy team pushed her just enough to motivate her but at the same time showing patience and compassion for her situation. The administration was always available to answer questions when needed as well. They even followed up with us after discharge to see how my grandmother is doing. Love Love Love The Lodge!

When you are looking for a placement for your elderly loved one you really want to be able to leave them in an establishment that you can trust. Your first impression of the lodge is a great one. It is new and it is clean and it has all of the new trendy decorations. Moreover, it did not have the odor that many care facilities have. I quickly found out that this establishment "glitters" but it is definitely is not "gold." They are terribly short staffed. I would and the phone would ring forever without an answer.. A scheduled care plan meeting consisted of subpar information and hurried preparation. After talking with some of the other visitors they noticed the exact same thing. The residents are not receiving the best care. Please beware...all that glitters is not gold!

What a place, my mom is a resident at the lodge. This place is new and spotless! Very nice place and she has awsome care givers, therapists and Drs. Everyone has been so caring and has gone out of their way to help not only my mom but me and my two sisters. I can sleep at night and work during the day knowing my mom is taken care of by everyone their. They keep her busy with her daily therapies and I see her at dinner time daily. I love this places and feel god has blessed us with this place and these people. Thank you all at the lodge for helping us! Sincerely Sandra L's Daughter's

My husband is in The Lodge. It's a beautiful place, it's huge, and the rooms were large and kept very clean. He needs 24/7 care. He's in a 2-bedroom, but he does not have a roommate. They're very attentive to him and to us, and they always greeted us and asked if we need anything. He's always clean, he's adjusted well there, andd he seemed to be very happy there. They do get him up and put him in a chair.
