My husband was a rehab patient in this facility and I found the staff to be competent, caring and very patient-oriented. My husband was clean and ready for therapy every morning, meals were served promptly and the staff was very respectful of him at all times. I highly recommend this faciltiy.

As in most industries, there are some caring staff and some uncaring staff and everything in between. Two of the staff were very rude. I do realize it’s a tough job taking care of folks with health issues and some of the patients were very difficult to deal with too.

You might be worried about this facility. You shouldnt be. They do everything to the best of their ability. The best part is they are caring and loving and go the extra mile in taking care of their residents. I was concerned but after my wifes stay we found out just how good it was. She was in for rehab from a broken femur. They did great on medication, food and everthing else. Your always concerned about a loved one. Feel better if they are going to Briarwood for a stay. They are very good.

I was sent to Briarwood from a Hospital In Gwinnett, recovering from Covid 19. At times, I had severe mental confusion even though it had been over 2 weeks since I had been diagnosed with Covid. The staff was always friendly and helpful, even though I must have been really difficult to deal with, because of my confusion and mood swings. I realized after I was discharged from Briarwood, how much they did to help me to return to my home and start getting back to a normal life. I wish I could remember the names of all the people that helped me at Briarwood, so I could thank them for all the help they were to me. Bob

My Uncle was here for approx a month for "rehab". He ultimately died here. The staff is terrible! They do NOT care about people. I visited him every day. I would ask for updates when I would arrive and was rarely informed by the staff, I had to rely on my Uncle to tell me. I was yelled at by the person in charge of the night shift as well as a couple other night/weekend nurses (I have lack of an accurate term for these people with no skills in the field they work) when I would complain about anything. Please do NOT send your loved ones here. My Uncle died in misery and I will blame myself for the rest of my life.

I was referred to Briarwood by a friend and I have no regrets. As an only child, I wanted the best for my dad and took my friend's advice. I spoke with Shanon in admissions and met with Evon in social services and these ladies are two employees any healthcare facilities should have. Their friendliness, the care the showed and the time they took to talk with me was terrific. I understand every one experiences are different, but my recommendations to anyone having any problems to speak with one of these ladies, it will make a great difference.

The staff is uncaring. My friend has been forced to wait hours for pain medications and other medications. They say terrible things to her. The only activities are bingo and lots of religious offerings even though it is not a religious home. I have notified the state of Georgia numerous times over problems created by the simple fact that the nurses and CNAs have no respect or care for the residents and the administrators have no clue that call lights are turned off and the CNAs walk away without doing anything to help.

My Mom was admitted to Briarwood October 2018. Coming from a bad experience with her previous experience I was skeptical. the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness and only two resistance per room. She was always clean. I noticed the concern of the staff and their interactions with her and myself. The services needed for her rehabilitation was on the premises. There are calendars posted daily of activities available to residents. As of June 2019, my experience continues to be exceptional. My interactions with the office staff make me so appreciative. I can not say enough about the care we both receive which means a lot to a caregiver. There is no better feeling for a caregiver to know your loved one to be a facility where they are cared for. I recommend Briarwood to anyone looking for exceptional care.

This place was awful. Nurses at night did not do a good job. My cousin and I took shifts so that my relative got taken care of. I just don't like this place.

Our close relative was there for rehabilitation. This is a great facility! From the moment we got there and met with Nichelle, we knew, we are in good hands. She is honest, hospitable and will go extra mile for you. Nurses ( Andrea was ours) , techs (especially Marina, Carol and Trevor) are the best! Very polite, attentive. Their job is very hard, but they do it with the smile. You do not feel that you bother them, always ready to help! Finally, they have great therapy department: Carla, Tamara, Rob, Toya - never give up, always find the way to make it more exiting. The only think you should be careful- communication with the business office. They would not communicate with you, you should initiate and be persistent, otherwise you will have "surprises" at the end.

This is the worst place ever! Please do not leave your loved one in this facility. If you have one there, you need to check on them as often as you can. I am not sure if the Nurse Assitants are really certified, they have a poor attitude and lack patient care. Director of Nursing really need to provide a class to show them bedside manner, and Patient care. ... It is really sad. When the patients call for help, call lights are going off for more than 30 mints before patients are seen...Intake and out put is not being recorded.. witnessed patients trays being eaten and stored in break room, not enough linen on the floor for a shift, Laundry department AWFUL! they never picked up the Laundry!... Items were stolen from our family member, patients sit up begging for someone to hurry and put them to bed..... they are not checking on residents at night.... half of the time you don't see the nurse at night... D. O. N. check on your nurses at night!... I believe there is a sleep shift going on. .. Worst experience Ever!!!! If you love your family member please do not send them to this place!

Terrible. My uncle stayed here for a two weeks. He had bed sores allergic reactions and swollen feet from blood clots. They struggled with getting his medicine right and to him on time. These ppl don't care. They are cold and rude, and lazy. They don't change bed sheets in a timely fashion. The food is terrible and they lied and said they had cable they don't. Not only that, the place is drab and depressing, no flowers no inspirational picture no wall art at all. The paint scheme is just boring and terrible. I know ppl will say what does interior design have to do with anything? It has a lot to do with the moral of the place. My uncle was already feeling sad before he went there recovering from a hip replacement but this place made him depressed. Then we tried to get his paperwork to leave and the kept saying they couldn't find it because they didn't want him to leave. We left anyway and got him to a better facility. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy let alone a loved one. WARNING!!!!! Stay away from this GOLDEN LIVING.m

My dad was in Golden Living Center for a month now. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They took good care of him, and the rooms were nice. The food looked and smelled good. I saw what my dad was eating, and he said it tasted good. They have birthday parties, pizza parties, dances, bingo, and arts and crafts. The dining room was nice and clean. There were six people at each table where they can sit together.

I would recommend Golden Livingcenter. They have good people. They took very good care of my mom. They called every time she was doing something different or if she had anything that was out of the norm. If the doctor called, they recommended a medication. They kept me updated all the time. I never had to worry about them, and I could visit every time I want to. The door was locked, and you could not get in unless you have a code. It was very good. I liked the service that they gave us.
