I had a good feeling about Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill when I entered it. The young lady that we met with, Abby, was very welcoming and very accommodating. So was the rest of the staff. We went around and met a lot of them and everyone was friendly. They had a barber/beauty shop, different activities during the month, and a nice cafeteria. I like their courtyard, too. The rooms were very nice-sized. The kitchenette was nice and the bathroom was great. The sink had the right height and it's got a great walk-in shower (that was very important). We're looking forward to being in there.

Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill looked very nice. The facility was pleasant. The rooms that I was shown were very nice. The grounds and the whole facility looked very pleasant. It looked comfortable and like a home versus an antiseptic hospital setting. It looked like everything was maintained very well. The staff was very knowledgeable and very personable. Any question I asked, she was able to answer. She was very pleasant. I think it would be a nice facility for my mother. The dining area looked nice. I saw some of their communal areas, living room, and entertainment.

My mom moved into Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The place is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are very spacious, and my mom absolutely loves it there. My mom absolutely loves the food. Because of Covid, they're delivering the food to the rooms. The dining area is beautiful as well. They have daily activity plans, a theater room, a physical therapy room, and a beauty shop. It was so cool, and I was like "I want to move in!" They have a company that they recommend, but they don't offer free transportation. You have to pay for it. It is quiet, relaxing, and serene because they play this really nice music out in one of the main common areas. Everybody is friendly too. When I was there, there were not a lot of activities, and there were a few people that walked around. It is pretty quiet. This is the first one that we saw, and we fell in love with it. We did not look at any other ones. It was the closest to my house, and we are definitely happy we made that decision.

We were very impressed with everything at Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill. Rebecca was remarkable, caring, and it showed through our conversation on the phone, and even while we were there during the tour. She sat down, took her time, and went over everything. The facility is newer but the distance played a part for us. We wanted something that was nearer for all the family members and Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill was just a little far out. My dad is 97 and has a prosthetic leg. I was concerned about the walking distance from his room to the dining room and the activities, but now I've realized it wouldn't have been a problem because he would need to be in a wheelchair for a while, but the rooms were nice. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the paint color. It was a darker beige, and to me, it's just pretty to look at but it made the room look dark. Also, his room would have been facing the courtyard, but it was covering over a part of the courtyard, so he would not have been receiving daylight. That's important to me. I like natural lighting and so does he, but it's still a beautiful community. They have a library and the staff was informative.

Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill had beautiful artwork everywhere. The memory care had a lovely veranda that's screened in, and you can overlook this massive beautiful courtyard. The room seemed pretty fine and cozy, and they had everything they needed. The staff was very efficient, very kind, friendly, and they know what they're doing. They've got a lot of programs set up for the people who live there.

My mother is in Magnolia Senior Living at Sugar Hill. We went in briefly because of COVID. It's very nice, clean, and the room is nice and brand new. Some days the meals she gets are not the greatest, and some days they're very good; it's very inconsistent. They have a lot of amenities, but a lot is shut down. The majority of the staff is very nice, but there are a couple of bad apples, and you just have to stay on top of them, especially when you can't get inside.

We placed a deposit and we're very pleased with Magnolia Senior Living Sugar Hill. It's a very nice place, very happy place, very clean, it's a new facility, and everybody seemed to really care about the residents. They have a memory care unit up on the second floor that's secure, which is probably where we're going to wind up putting mother at this time instead of the actual assisted living before. I did not see anything I did not like. The hallways were wide enough, and the level of the rooms were fine. The staff was great, everybody was very concerned, and very interested in making sure that my mom got taken care of and got settled. When she had her illness they bent over backward to work with me while she was sick. The facility was very open, bright, and cheerful.

Awesome, clean and staff appeared knowledgeable about handling a memory care resident. Rooms large, and bathrooms are designed well for safety
