PruittHealth-Savannah was very nice and very clean. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. We made appointments if we wanted to talk with the social worker or any of our employees there, and they were always available. The room my brother-in-law got was great. It was a suite. There was a sitting area with the top of the line room, and that's all they had available at the time. They also had plenty of common areas for the residents to go out.

The rooms are large, clean and bright with individual temperature controls which is nice. The therapy staff is amazing, they are very professional and supportive. While I was there I went from not even being able to sit on the side of the bed by myself to being much more independent and able to get around by myself. I am currently going to Pruitt for out patient therapy and making great progress. the entire therapy staff is warm and friendly. I like that pool therapy is available and there is even a treadmill in it! As great as the therapy staff is the CNA staff and food prep., staff need more training. Some of the CNA's are amazing but many of them appear to be unmotivated, uncaring and not enjoying their jobs at all. As for the food, you do get a choice of 2 entrées but the food is often cold and/or totally uneatable and certainly not well balanced. I gave an overall score of average but if I could give scores by area the therapy staff would get 5+ stars.

My aunt is at PruittHealth. It's a nice and clean place. The staff is very nice. They keep in touch with me. They do what they can do. She has come a long way from the time that she got there. She eats well, and it feels homey. I got nothing bad to say about them, they're all right, and I would highly recommend them.

Before my husband passed away, he stayed at Heritage Park (Heritage Healthcare of Savannah). Someone said the place was pretty good that's why I chose this facility for him. Also it looked like a really nice place. The facility was pretty good. They took care of my husband pretty good. I didn't have any problems with the staff because I was on top of them. The only thing I could say about them was that that they didn't give him his medicines like they're supposed to. Also they weren't too careful with him especially at night because he kept falling during that time. He had a private room and it had a little closet, a dresser and drawer, two chairs in it and that was it. Also their food wasn't all that good. They need to improve on their food. When it comes to activities, the other facility was far better than this one.

I visited this nursing home many years ago with my mother. She actually worked there at the time and it was bring your child to work day. I really did not know what to expect, it being my first time at a nursing home, but when I got there it seemed like a quiet easy going environment. Walking around with my mother seeing each of the patients was really an eye opener. I didn't realize how unable some of the elderly are to do some of the things they needed, but each person working there took their time and with kind hearts helped them all. It is refreshing to see true good in the world and it is there at heritage park.
