My sister is at Seven Hills Place. She is in memory care and to me, they are highly recommended. It is a very nice place. They have a huge dining room and every time I go visit her, there's somebody that pops in to check on her. The facility is very clean and they do all kinds of activities. They even put them on a bus and take them places. They also paint and have all kinds of games onsite for them to participate in. My sister has her bed, sofa, and TV, and there's a little kitchen area with a sink and cabinets. The staff is very nice and very informative. If I want to see how my sister is doing, I just call them and they tell me. They don't have any problems with it.

I liked Seven Hills Square because it's all on one level. It had a more homey feel to it. It was all very clean and very, very nice. The only person that we met was the director, and he was very, very personable.

We chose Seven Hills Square, and my mother-in-law is moving there. Everything seemed very clean. It was very structured. They have a lot of activities planned. The participants seemed happy. Everybody pretty much saw to their needs. For instance, Beth, one of the patients happened to go in and was trying to go into the wrong door. She stopped what she was doing with me and immediately went and helped. And I thought that was very good, they were putting them first, and that's very important to us. The room has a nice-sized closet and a nice-sized bathroom. They have a little sink with cabinets where you can keep snacks and stuff. They have a refrigerator in there. Because they do have, like, furniture, people have left and not used, they also offer that as well. If we needed anything that we didn't have, we were welcome to what they had in storage. The little garden is precious too, they have an enclosed garden area where they can go in and sit on the benches and look at the flowers, and the bushes, and stuff. It's completely safe because they've got windows where everybody is. And so they always notice who's outside and they keep watch on them. Beth was very personable and seemed to know what I was going to ask before I asked it. I can tell that she knew what concerns most memory care family members have. And she also made some recommendations as far as bringing things, how many things we should do and this and that. And she made sure that I pretty much understood what a normal day would be like there, and answered all my questions.
