I toured Renaissance Marquis. It probably would have been our first choice, but they didn't have any two-bedrooms available. They expected to have one within one to two months; however, the distance from us is what ultimately resulted in our choosing the other facility. Nevertheless, it was clean. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly and very helpful. I met a couple of the residents, and they're as sweet as could be.

We liked Renaissance Marquis very much. It was very good. The only problem is it's about a half an hour ride from my home, and it's a little inconvenient if I'm going to be running there all the time. Even though it's in the same town, Rome is a big town. It could take an hour to get from one side of town to the other. The staff was very nice, very helpful, very polite, and professional. They knew all their stuff.

Renaissance Marquis was very nice. It was immaculate, very open, airy, and pleasant. Everybody was very pleasant and seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The staff was very nice, very helpful, concerned, and interesting.

Renaissance Marquis was good but too far away. They had very nice outdoor area, which they put a lot of thought into. They had a grill outside, a small building where you can have guests, and a nice paved patio. It's very nice. The people really liked the outdoors. The activities and things that they provide are standard, but it's more a la carte. In other words, if you wanted two meals a day or to have your laundry done, you have to pay extra.

Renaissance Marquis is under a management change right now, and I am hoping for improvements. When my father-in-law was in the independent care, it exceeded my expectations. He was in one of the biggest apartments that I've seen in a senior living. It had one bedroom, one bath, living room, dining room, and a full kitchen. Then, he was transferred to the assisted care, and I got really disappointed. His apartment was basically the same, but with easier access to the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, and had a carpet, but that apartment and my dad got very dirty. They moved him into memory care into a brand-new apartment so they could bathe him. He's been there now for a couple of months and I am hoping to see the improvements. The facility's grounds are nice, and the food is very good. The dining area is very nice. They have assigned seating and two to three options for breakfast, one option for lunch, a full dinner with desserts, and snacks for them to take back to their room like chips or crackers.

My sister liked the Renaissance. The staff is taking good care of her. I have tried their food, and it’s delicious. They have good activities like bingo, and exercises.

We love Renaissance Marquis. They're really good. Dad is in Alzheimer's center during the day and then he stays with my mom at night so they're really happy with it. We have friends and church members over there. My mom said the food is good but I haven't eaten there. My dad is doing a lot better with the Alzheimer's and it has really freed my mom and given her a nursing-free time. There's always some kind of activities going on for my mom. I don't know what they do in the Alzheimer's center but they keep dad there all day.

We visited Renaissance and we liked it. They have a beautiful front yard The apartment has two rooms with a kitchen, a sitting area, and a bathroom. The place was nice, but the problem is that we need to get up and down the stairs.

The staff is very friendly, one very positive thing was that the staff knew my grandparents name. My grandparents seem to have build a relationship with staff member. The facility was very clean, but it did have a odor. The public bathroom are always clean. Some amenities they have is the resident are able to take a bus to Walmart and doctor appointments. I thought this was great, but both of my grandparent are in no condition to drive. They also have a mini library that the residents and guest can read. They also have pool table that the resident can use. A public kitchen on the first floor, that the resident and family members can use. We use it one time on thanksgiving, for dinner.
