My husband is at Silver Comet Village. The facility was very nice and bright. They have a nice dining area. It has a nice back deck to sit on. The rooms are nice. The staff members are nice and friendly. Sometimes, they're a little short-staffed, but for the most part, they're helpful. They have an activity room. They have a snack and chat time. They have people who come in and sing. From what I hear, the food is good.

We looked at Silver Comet Village. It was an amazing place. It probably was not the best fit for mom, because a lot of the residents in memory care didn't need as much care as she did, which is why we didn't choose it. They didn't accept her for that reason. She needed more care than the staff they had. But, it was all extremely nice, and you would get a lot for the money. The staff was over the top good, and the rooms were big and nice.

I toured Silver Comet Village. The people were very sweet, very knowledgeable, and very professional. The staff was very genuine, and made you feel like she had your interests at heart. Their rooms were great. They were very large. They had a very happy atmosphere. I saw the dining area, but I didn't eat. It was very neat and made it look like a place you'd like to sit down and have a meal. The day we were there, there was a group of them getting ready to take the bus, car, or whatever to Outback to eat lunch. Later that day they were gonna have bingo.

I went to Silver Comet Village. It was very clean, very quiet. They had different amenities, they had a movie room. The apartments were very nice and spacious, and they had their private balconies. It's close to the Silver Comet trail. They had plenty of parking for the residents and guests, and they were very kind people. The appliances are there, and they're top of the line. The refrigerator was already there, as well as the stove and microwave. I think there was already a washer/dryer there too. The staff was nice and bubbly. The structure was really solid, it was very clean, upscale, and everything looks really new, fresh, and updated. I saw a gazebo, and they had a courtyard.

I'm moving into Silver Comet Village. I like the fact that it is truly inspirational, and I have a lot to do there. The layout was very easy to follow and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The people there were truly a blessing to see and to meet. The food was excellent. There's more than enough room, just really spacious, and it's just really good. They have a swimming pool, they have a library to go in to read or to write, whatever you want to do there, and they have exercises available. They've got a massage room where you can get a massage on your body and there's a room to go and play cards.

Silver Comet Village was newer. Although it was smaller, it was nice and clean. Each one of the apartments has a washer and dryer in the unit. Plus, they offer two meals. The employees were nice, had all the information we needed, and answered all the questions.

I think Silver Comet Village is about three years new. It's very nice and clean. The staff was overly informative and nice. Everybody that was there was nice. It seemed like they were more of a family. They have so much going on. The facility is big, nice, and clean, and it's accommodating. I did not tour the assisted living, but the independent area is nice. Parking is accommodating for the building. They have four floors and one- and two-bedroom apartments. It's very nice, and I just fell in love with the staff. I felt like I was moving in, and that's just how they approached me once I entered the doors. It was my first visit, and I was so impressed with that community. I met two staff, and one of them spent so much time with me. It wasn't a quick interview or a quick tour. I was there for two hours, and she was so patient. I looked at the menu, I saw the dining area, but I didn't get the chance to meet the chef. I came about an hour after lunch, so I didn't get the chance to be there during the meal. The facility is beautiful. It's so warm and so friendly. Even the guests were friendly. I've been looking for a place now for over a year, and I have never attended a tour where I saw activity going on. But, with me being involved in senior communities for the last 10 years, that was the most active participant activity that I've ever seen. Even in the senior community where I am, participants normally don't do more than four or five at each activity, but they had a full house yesterday for that. That impressed me yesterday, the participation in the activities that they had going. I was there for two activities. They had a performance of someone to entertain, and he was singing. And the second one was bingo, and both of them was full house participant to me from what I've seen. It's just a beautiful facility.
