I thought Legacy at Savannah Quarters was great. Kim (the person who toured us) was awesome. In fact, I'm getting ready to go back out there and visit a good buddy of mine. The staff makes sure their meds are done, and they take care of him very well. They are doing a good job. They seemed to be very happy. The facility is also nice. It is just that the cost gives me pause to hesitate. The cafeteria was very nice too. My buddy said the food is pretty good. They have a greenhouse (which is a very nice thing to have) and residents are taking part in that. It is a ten acre land, so it is a good place to have a walk (if you're still able to do it). They have a theater, bar, physical therapy, hair salon (where you have to pay your own), an open fitness area, a massage room, and they got a little two year old labradoodle as a therapy dog for the residents. Their cafeteria is not just open three times a day, but it is open from 7 o'clock in the morning until 7:30 in the evening, so you can go eat anytime you want. The morale of the place is very good and very high, and it is where I would go in a heartbeat when I'm ready.

Legacy at Savannah Quarters was very modern, and very well maintained, and the staff there was excellent. We spoke with some of the residents and they all seemed to be very happy with the facility. Of the places that I viewed, that would have been the one that I would have chosen if I had to choose. They had a monthly calendar for the residents and it was a good calendar with activities and a menu for the food that they were going to have daily. They had quite a few extra options for food than some of the other places did. In other words, if they had something for dinner and you didn't like it, there were other options that you could have, like maybe a tuna fish sandwich or something different. Most of the other places just had a pretty set menu.

We visited Legacy at Savannah Quarters. It's a really, really nice place, but it's out of our price range. You can't get any help and you have to pay out of pocket. The staff is good. It's clean. They have a semi-private room, there's a wall between them, and as you go in the door, each one has their bathroom on their side. The staff members were very helpful. They showed us what they had. If you don't like what's on the menu they have other food you can choose from. My mother doesn't eat seafood, so they had another menu that had hamburgers and probably hot dogs. I think the safety of the residents is fine. And then they had also a fire escape room, and so if they had fire, they could get everybody out. With regards to activities, I saw residents sitting in the lobby talking with each other and visiting. They had a big common area. Overall, it was clean.

My mom will be moving into Legacy at Savannah Quarters. It's closest to our home, and we liked it. Everyone there is very helpful. The facility is clean, new, up-to-date, very peaceful, and nicely decorated. They have a semi-private room that's more affordable for us. The staff that I met was wonderful. The sales and marketing person was great.

I toured the Legacy at Savannah Quarters. I would rate it highly. It was very modern. The facilities were new. The staff all seemed very nice and accommodating. They had what seemed like a lot of scheduled activities for the residents. They didn't have any over the weekend, and I saw that part in person, but the things they showed me that they had available for them seemed great. It seemed like they had a variety of meal plans available and more flexibility in the times that they could eat. The place was very clean. The courtyard was very nice. They had outdoor dipping pools for them in the courtyard for the warmer months. They also had an indoor bar where they watch sporting games. They said that they have a band every Friday that goes into their little bar area and does some music for their Friday happy hours. It was very nice and very modern.

The Legacy at Savannah Quarters is a very beautiful place. Brand new. The executive director was very informative. She gave me all types of reasons why I need to come here. She was very nice, but I was telling her that it may not be right away because my dad may need to go to the Mayo Clinic, and she was like, "No, I guarantee you, bring him here first. That'll change." It was like she was trying to give me medical advice just to get me there. That was kind of odd that she would deter medical advice to say that he would get what he needed there at The Legacy. The rooms were pretty basic. Everybody had the same thing. As far as the room, you get like a little mini-refrigerator. I think it's a brand-new facility that has just been built, so they had just about everything in there. The rooms were kind of small, unless you get a one bedroom, or two bedroom. They had the bells and whistles. They had stuff for not so much the residents, but the family that comes to visit. They had an indoor heated pool, heated chairs. They had a greenhouse. They had golf. It's like a little mini country club or something.

We toured the Legacy at Savannah Quarters. It's a very open and pleasant community, and it looks like something we may consider once we visit some of the other ones, because it is very nice, and offers the amenities that we're looking for. They have pretty much everything; home care, a type of physical therapy, and dining. We had the option to try the food, but we didn't have time to do that.

I will be moving into Legacy at Savannah Quarters this June. It is near my family. It's all one level and built around a really nice courtyard. It has a small pool, a fire pit, and even a bar in the middle. They have physical fitness and an activities staff for different recreational activities.

My husband moved to Legacy at Savannah Quarters late last year. I like the convenient location, the staff was cooperative, and he is in activities that he normally would not have participated in. There's arts and crafts, puzzles, and a lot of different activities. It's a beautiful facility, it's very clean, and he enjoys being there.

Legacy at Savannah Quarters is great. The staff members are all wonderful. My father's apartment is very nice. The layout is good. I would highly recommend it. Right now, they're allowing porch visits and that was a big plus with the Covid stuff going on. They're allowing one person at a time to go and visit with their family member. They sit out on the front porch for 30-minute visitation. My father is very critical about food, and he likes it most of the time. The staff has been very helpful. They have crafts and get-togethers. There are more women there than men, and the men I don't think are so interested in the crafts stuff. As far as playing cards or bingo, he can't participate in that because he can't see very well, even though they have oversized cards and oversized bingo. It's a brand new facility.
