This is a TERRIBLE PLACE FOR ANY PERSON TO BE AT. THEY MISTREAT THEIT PATIENTS. They have a few good CNA’s and Nurses but on a whole their CNA’s don’t know or don’t care about how the patients are treated. They don’t apply medications to the patients skin properly. None of them ANSWER THE CALL LIGHT WITH IN A NORMAL AMOUNT OF TIME. They answer it whenever they see fit. 2 to 4 hours a patient has to sit in urine and poop diapers causing the patient’s skin to breakdown and BED SORES TO START UP Their Upper level management does nothing but put the blame on to the patients. They don’t go see the patients for days after a complaint is called into the office. The food is fairly good. The CNAs are rough when they change a patient diaper. THEY HAVE THE OLD CALL LIGHTS method of Nurse calling They need to upgrade to where you push a button and talk to a main nurse station to get help. The way it is now PATIENT PUSHS the call light if THEY are CHOCKING AND THEY DIE BEFORE the CNA DECIDES TO CHECK ON THE THEM.

Heather, at front door. She is great personality n friendly. Management staff does nothing, they do not share information with other personal. They are left in dark. Some of the nurse s needs to know patients pay their salary. They do not care about you at all. Not all they were several sweet ones. We had rounds with 2 staff members, one as far as to get in my face. They are no activities here. No amenities.

DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE IF THEY ARE HERE REMOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY, my father was here for 6 hours and died, the “nurses” were careless and the center did not have his medication list and were not attentive to him, he was transferred from Wellstar Kennestone hospital to here, he was at Kennestone for 10 days in good spirits, recovering from his stroke, he had built up a lot of mobility and was ready to go home, they brought him here to do physical therapy and he died after only being here for 6 hours, I love my father and do not want this to happen to anyone else’s family, DO NOT BRING YOU’RE LOVED ONE HERE

I was admitted to rehab for a short period, and I must say this is one of the cleanest facility I have seen in a while and one that doesn't smell. On top of that I have the best social worker Yeovone , she makes me feel valued, she's compassionate and care deeply for the patients. The rehab staff was attentive, and the admission assistance Mathis was fantastic. My biggest problem was the length of time it takes for the cna to answer the call light. Overall, I was very pleased with the level of care showed to me and others.

My aunt was there about couple of weeks ago. She was in bad shape . She needed therapy . I visited my aunt she was up playing bingo laughing enjoying herself in activities. She said therapy had help her feel better and she was ready to have fun. So she has left and I wanted to say Thank you for a wonderful experience at Roselane

Don’t go here. The staff is rude, the food is awful. The care is nonexistent. The nurses who dispense the medication seem to be the only ones who care. The friendly pt staff charges your insurance for 60 minutes per day and dispenses maybe 60 per week. I never met anyone who had had a shower, although they claim to give you one twice a week. IF the call button works, it’s 30 to 60 minutes to wait. After a patient falls, which is a common occurrence, the other patients yell to get them help, sometimes for several minutes. The office staff does not fill out the paperwork correctly, causing further delays in your treatment. Your hospital will tell you it’s the only facility with an opening, and their lack of care tells you why.

My husband was at Roselane Health and Rehabilitation Center. The only staff that was pleasant there were the receptionists; everybody else sucked. The level of care was zero. They even messed up his medication. He had another stroke while he was there. He had a perforated bowel, and they didn't catch it. They didn't realize he couldn't swallow, so they were serving him food he couldn't eat. It is unbelievable. They gave the wrong dose of blood pressure medicine while he was there. They had to come back and give him more because they had read the file wrong. They don't deserve anything higher than 1. The facility was depressing. It needed a lot of upkeep. I would not eat a meal there because it smelled so bad. We didn't have to pay anything because it was covered by Medicare.
Very Disappointing Experience

I was so hoping that this would be a good exp for the short time my relative was there. It was NOT. For a person with diabetes, they feed him sugary pastries, rice, potatoes. They never paid attention to the fact that on more than 1 occasion they were told that he does not drink coffee, tea or milk. But what did they give him, coffee, tea and milk! He had a fever and no one took his temp, but they checked is vitals! He was suffering from delirium - bothered to call the family! The missed of day of giving him is meds for blood pressure, his blood pressure was high the next day. They "think" they gave him an antibiotic for infection, but had no record of if they did or did not! He laid in his own poop for who knows how long. Not all of the nurses and CNA's are inattentive but they definitely have some challenges. He won't be going back to this facility. The CNA's, when they are delivering food, I specifically told them that he is unable to cut his own food. They did not cut it - he did not eat! Bad experience. Food was disgusting looking - very poor quality.

My mother was admitted for rehab at Roseland Health Center, and I was so please with the care showed and the services offered to her. The therapy team, Gary, Precscilla, Daisy was awesome, nurse Brenda was thorough in explaining her meds, and social worker Yvone was so helpful and would keep me updated on her process, even when mom came home, she called to check on her. I would recommend Roseland to anyone and would do it all over again if needs be. It’s also one of the cleanest facilities I have ever visited.

I'm a short stay patient in Roseland Health Center since August 10, 2022 for Rehabilition Physical and Occupational therapy. The therapist are very respectful, and skilled professionals and I would recommend them. The nursing care that I have recieved from the nursing staff is skilled and knowledgeable nursing care especially from Shawanda LPN, Carmen CNA Thomas CNA, and Maddie CNA. The meals here are excellent professionally cooked by a Chef, very yummy! The facility here is kept spotless with wonderful housekeeping staff cleaning each room daily and No oder here!! The ancillary staff were very helpfull especially the social worker, and others. I personally recommend Roseland come for a tour you will not regret it.

Roselane switched over to a different name, staff change. Since then, my 100 year old mom has had many things stolen from her room, too numerous to even mention. Now the latest thing, she was moved out of her room with all her belongings to a much smaller room in a completely different part of the facility. She was told it was so her room could be cleaned and sanitized, as her room mate had Covid. They stuck her in this room with all her belongings, piled up, and immediately she had two things stolen from her while she was asleep. Now they have given her original room which they were sanitizing to another resident. They just put her out, and moved someone else in. She cries all the time now. How can anyone be treated so badly? They are being reported. Don't put your loved one here.

I do not recommend this place. My husband has been given the wrong dose of medication, he laid in his own waste for over an hour and a half, he’s been served raw chicken, etc. He was scheduled for a procedure yesterday. He thought it was surgery. For nearly 2 hours, I tried to reach someone. My work line rang 20 minutes before someone picked up the receptionist ver only to hang it up. I could hear them talking to another employee. I called again. Someone answered the phone in his section and told me he was never there that I called the wrong facility. Many times I had people paged and was sent yo voicemail boxes that were full and couldn’t take a new message. The receptionist finally paged physical therapy who drug a nurse to the phone to answer my questions. In the meantime, the nurse in charge of his section finally decided to do her job and took the phone from her employee. I was told the called my cell and left a voicemail. Not true. After talking with her, I called back and asked for the administrator’s voicemail. Waiting to see if she has the nerve to call me this morning. I regret that I didn’t do what crossed my mind this morning. If I ever have an issue reaching someone again, I’m calling the police for a wellness check. I’ve also requested a social worker for him. Don’t know how they received 4 out of 5 stars. They do not deserve a single one.

This place is horrible. They do not take care of these residents. My heart breaks for one’s who do not have anyone check on them regularly. My dad has been neglected and has end up in the hospital due to this. Stopped his anti seizure meds without my knowledge. He had a seizure and ended up at hospital. He has fallen out of his wheel chair hit his head bc no one was paying attention that his mental status was altered and they he had no knowledge of what was happening. They refused to put his bipap machine on him after calling to tell me his c02 levels were elevated. And that’s the only way to blow it back off. He ended up at the hospital. He has a recurring UTI every single month bc they let him sit in his own urine and feces for hours! Do not bring your loved ones here!

I went to Roselane Health and Rehabilitation Center. The tour was wonderful. It's a beautiful place. They were able to do rehabilitation, but they would not have a long-term bed for mom and I didn't want to keep moving her around. The staff was wonderful. I came unannounced and she didn't have a problem with giving me a 5 to 10-minute tour. The rooms were very clean. The door was open and you could look inside, and it was a shared room. I saw a big beautiful courtyard.

My husband was admitted into Roselane on 2/4 (or 2/3) for rehab after having back surgery at Kennestone in Marietta. I should have known what type of facility this was when a lone female took him to be weighed before they even did a fall assessment on him. She let go of him and he fell, landing on his butt. Mind you he had staples about 7 to 8" high where he had a laminectomy. At the time, it did not appear to have hurt him so we let it go. They constantly let him swim in his urine. Because of his obesity, he could not use a urinal and he could not take himself to the bathroom because of his back. They also let him swim in his feces. Fast forward a couple of weeks and his back started hurting him a lot. They constantly ignored his cries. One night I was helping him with his shorts and the band kind of scraped his incision area. Later on I found out there was a lot of blood coming out of the incision. It turns out it was infected!! He was taken to the doctor and he was admitted back into the hospital so they could clean up the wound. In the mean time it turns out he had ecoli from swimming in his crap. It was suggested that I sue your sorry butts. I don't wa t to have anything to do with you as I lost my husband March 14th from your lack of care. Right now the whole medical community is just sorry. Steer clear of this place people if you don't want to lose your loved ones to incompetence.

Rating would be a”Zero” if I could get system to take it—absolutely horrible communication. Transferred my 96-year old mother from hospital to Roselane for rehabilitation, and called 24-hour contact number all night trying to get confirmation she made it and was doing OK, but never got an answer. No visitors allowed due to COVID, so you’d think they’d care about communication, but exactly the opposite! Almost impossible to get ANYONE to pick up at nurse’s station. The single time I got someone to pick up, she was clueless about how my mother was doing and refused to simply walk into her room. Left messages for Roselane Director and others, but never get a return call. I’ve never seen any place worse!!!

This nursing home is wonderful. The staff consistently reach out to me to keep me informed about any issues with my Mom. She’s well taken care of, but not afraid to speak her mind. She raves about how good the nurses and CNA’s are to her! She has pet names for them and loves when they stop by just to check in on her ... even with their busy schedules of caring for so many on her unit. The staff encourages her, cares for her and it shows. I’ve never felt good about her being in a nursing home; I wanted to take care of her myself. But she is happy and they take better care of her than I ever could. There aren’t enough stars to give this Home. I love them!

Nurses are kind and try to be helpful. However, they can only do so much. Those in management very quickly pass off your concerns to someone else, who then passes them off to another staff member. At the end of the day, no questions are answered and you end up waiting for hours with more issues than you started with. Very poorly managed facility. The doctors did not get his meds right for weeks, then changed them without notifying the family. Patient has continual declined while in their care. The Nursing staff is the only good thing about this place. If you have other options I would recommend you look into those before choosing this one.

Don’t go here. Examples: 1. I was told the reason aides came in and turned off the help light is because they get graded on how long the light is on. The aide did not respond to the need at all. After turning out the light she left 2. Once when I asked the name of the person to whom I was speaking since I couldn’t see her staff tag, she refused to tell me her name. 3. One friend called me at 7 pm to come help her get dressed because she was afraid of the staff. There were no smiles or encouragement from the staff when I showed up. They seemed mad at her and me. 4. One friend just hired 24 hour extra care for her mom while there since she was not getting cared for. 5. I was afraid to leave one friend who was falling asleep in a wheelchair and looked as if she would fall out. It took awhile to get someone to take care of her Please don’t let Kennestone send anyone to this place. The staff is the most unfriendly , unhelpful I have ever seen. During flu season I went to visit a friend who was in physical therapy when I showed up. The folks were squashed in a room very closely and everyone was coughing like crazy. I don’t know what the answer would be because I know they don’t have enough physical therapists to do each individual room but this situation was not right. Thank heavens none of my friends have been in there since January

Golden LivingCenter Kennestone is great. It's just super and it's so clean. The staff us super nice. My mother is pretty much a vegetable, but they baby her and they take such good care of her. It's just wonderful. The food is good. My mom has her food pureed. Sometimes I see her roommates' food and theirs look good. For activities they have wine tasting, Bingo, and churches come in and sing.

I brought my Mother here after a massive stroke. I was impressed with Roselane Health and Rehab due to the cleanliness and newness of the facility. I visited a bunch of nursing homes and they smelled and were older which was depressing. My mother has been here a year now and I love the staff and the support. Take the time to know your staff taking care of your loved one, and you find they are very dedicated and hardworking professionals. Very happy here and feel part of the team.

Recently, my Brother was placed in Golden Living (Kennestone) for rehab after a hospital stay. This was probably the worst experience I have ever had reguarding Senior Living or Rehab Facilities. The Social Workers are anything but social and certainly don't want to be bothered by work. They absolutely could care less if you have a problem and will make minimal if any effort to resolve it. The whole place seems to be a Medicare and Insurance milking machine.

I visited Golden LivingCenter Kennestone for my mom. The building was new. The staff was friendly. The dining room was nice. It looked more like an assisted living than it did a nursing home. They appeared to have some activities posted but I didn’t see anybody at the moment having them.

Would not recommend & WILL NOT use again. My mother was there 4 years ago & it was 100% better then although there were a few minor complaints. I believe the entire management staff has changed since then. They advertise that they admit 7 days a week. There was no admissions person there & learned from nursing staff they did not know she was coming so were not prepared. They did have a nurse that was handling admissions for the weekend. Won't go into all the details but I started regretting choosing the facility within the first 2 - 3 hours. Began researching moving her to another place & was ready to do it on Monday but my mom was hesitant & thought another place probably would not be any better. Should have insisted that she move but did not. I really did NOT feel comfortable leaving her that night. Finally on Tuesday the Admissions Director came in to see if we minded changing rooms. She then realized that we had not signed all the admission papers, 3 days after my mom had arrived. At that time I advised her that we were not that impressed so far & was considering a transfer. Of course she then wanted to hear all my concerns. After I told her my concern/complaints so far she assured me they would be addressed. You would think there would be some kind of followup but I have yet to see her again --- 3 weeks later. My mom has now been there 3 weeks & leaving tomorrow. During this time I have been keeping notes. I have been there most of the day almost every day since she was admitted. Here are a few of the complaints/observations we had: Did not get a feeling of professionalism among much of the staff. Many give the feeling that patients are a bother. The long-term care & memory care patients seem to be mixed in with the short-term rehab patients. They are allowed to roam over the entire building. Long-term & short-term areas are separate but not closed off so there is a flow between the two areas. I personally did not care for that set up. Patients roaming into others rooms, some with severe dementia were on the short-term wing & were quite disturbing to the other patients. Many times patients are parked in the wheel chairs around the nurses station & you have to maneuver through them. Before my mom could get to the bathroom on her own it would take anywhere from 8-10 minutes after she turned on her light for someone to come to help her. Sometimes it was faster if one of the CNAs happened to be in the hall & saw the light. When asking for pain medicine or anything outside of scheduled meds it usually took several requests. Took 4 days to get results & medicine for a UTI. That was after 2 specimens were taken. First was 'damaged.' Not consistent with timing of meds or taking vitals (BP, blood glucose, etc.). My mom's incision started to itch so she asked to see the wound care nurse on a Saturday. She did not come until Monday. Food is really bad. I suppose it is edible but not enticing to eat. Ended up bringing my mom food from takeout places or from home. Timing of the meals is really bad. For instance there might be an hour difference from day to day as to when they get the meals to them. Not a big deal to many but for some of them meals may be the highlight of their day. Seems like a tighter schedule could be accomplished. Entire place is extremely noisy. Lots of personal conversation among the staff especially at shift change. There seemed to be a lack of communication between shifts. Although certain nurses were better at it than others. I have to say there were NO concerns/complaints with the therapy areas. The physical, speech & occupational therapy staff were very good, consistent & professional. Bottom line - will not use again or recommend. Just glad to be leaving.

Granted, mom came from ICU after intibating her, (I thought I would loose her in ICU) and was moved to a regular room in the hosptial. She is weak, fraile, and had not eaten in 4 days. She just started grasping the concept of broth, I fed her. She did not have the strength to feed herself let alone hold a cup in her hand. From the hospital she was staying at; she was discharged to this facility. I arrived in the evening to see how her transition was coming along. Their welcoming crew gave me no comfort, attitudes all around. Not a favorable response especially on our first evening. Only an order of 02 was processed after I made a complaint to her hospital. By her beside was a large plate of food. No assitance and no one knew what stage of care she needed...Day 2, the dates on the bandages were from the other day, wound care could not be located...Day 3, I visited mom and noticed a pool of chocolate milk under her wheelchair, her clothes are wet. I hit the button for the nurse and 3 minutes later someone arrived just to call another perosn and another person...I changed my mother out of the wet clothing. In just my 3 days here, I feel that I might loose my mom in this facility.

Worst place ever!!! The staff is rude, have very poor attitudes and are not taking care if patients!! They are not giving meds on time or anywhere near, not helping the unable ones get to the toilet or assist with bedpans! My mother was left laying in her own urine for hours!! Also, she had to ring the nurse 7 times before someone ever came!! This is unacceptable and I will be filing a complaint with corporate, her insurance, and media!! If this isn't the career for you,get the heck out of there!!! I beg you, pls.don't leave your loved one here!!

My sister is at Golden Livingcenter. They were very good with her. She can't walk very well, and they are trying to get her to walk more and strengthen her legs. When she came in there, her legs were very swollen, and after a few weeks, all the swelling went down. I considered that to be pretty good. However, the food was not very good.
Fair Warning!!!

I was researching assisted living facilities due to my mom having a stroke and her Medicare ending. I stumbled across Golden Living Kennestone and set up a tour. After learning that this place was more of a "short term rehab facility", I felt it was perfect as my mom was on a quick road to recovery. After explaining the situation with my mom, I was told this may not be the place for her...but I really wasn't told why. I tried to coordinate this facility speaking with the rehab facility my mom was currently in. After over a week, and multiple follow-up calls from me...nothing was accomplished. I even conferenced in both parties to no avail on getting anything done. I then decided that if this place can't put forth the effort to make me or my loved one feel important or welcoming, then who knows what kind of treatment they would receive if she was a patient. Now...2 weeks later...I still haven't received any sort of call or follow-up from them. They made me feel like it was a privilege that they were helping me (even though they just wasted my time). Good thing I moved on and found another place.

I was in Golden Living in Kennesaw three times. The staff and the nurses were very nice and accommodating, a few of them had a little bit of an attitude. What annoyed me was that had to go to therapy every day and they didn't always made my bed. I would have to call them and made them do my bed. There was also a nurse who kept telling that there was nothing wrong with me when I told her I needed to go to the hospital because I caught an infection which caused me to vomit and when they finally sent me to the hospital, I had to be there for ten day because of that. When I was there in December, they put me in with a woman who was absolutely insane. In the middle of the night, she would be trying to get into my bed and lay down with me and she would take her clothes off and I told my aids that she couldn't stay with me because she was treating me like I was her mate. The last time I was in they almost killed me. They had medicated me incorrectly and I went into the hospital for ten days. I was so drugged out that I didn't know my name, I didn't know who I was. I was hallucinating and they had to tie me down to the bed because I was so out of it and they had me tested and the doctor said, I was over medicated. The food was horrible, all they gave me was carbs and I was diabetic. They just didn't care and I talked to the dietician and she said that they don't have any special menu for diabetic people. When I was there, my blood sugar up above 300.

It was a pretty campus I guess, but the hallways all had that sterile "hospital" smell that never seems to get out of your nose. I never really enjoyed visiting, mostly because my Grandmother was dying there, but it did seem to be a very comfortable place for her to die. The staff were very professional, if a little impersonal and I was generally comfortable with the level of care my grandmother received.

A relative had to have rehab after a hip replacement. We were concerned that the rehab facility would be too much like a nursing home (long term stay) and she would be discouraged, but it was a great relief to see that the clients who resided with her during her recovery were highly motivated to return home. The rehab team was caring, supportive, and professional. The facility was clean and overall cheerful .I would recommend this place.
