My dad has moved into Greenwood Place. He likes it, so that's all that matters. It seems like a really good place for him to spend the rest of his days. I pretty much like everything about it. Everybody seems friendly and knowledgeable. They know what to do in any situation, so that's all that matters. I like everything about the building. The only thing that is a minor concern is that my dad would have to be on the second floor and some of the stuff is on the first floor. For activities, they have puzzles, coloring pages, different games, and a simulated boxing thing, which I thought was weird at first, but they're just sitting there and pretending to punch. They're not punching anything, they're just exercising.

I really liked Greenwood Place. That was my number one choice to keep my mother. The facility was clean. It appeared that all of the residents were happy and having a good time. The staff was very personable and accommodating. It was kind of a feel-good place. It just felt right. There was a little kitchenette, a nice-sized bathroom, and a closet in the room. It was a studio. The person who took me around was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and personable. The building was a little older, but it was well kept.

Greenwood Place was very pleasant. It didn't have brand-new carpeting, but it was spotlessly clean. The community was very impressive and very nice. The people were very knowledgeable. I was impressed with them. The staff seemed to be very caring. They had everything available. They had nurses, they had physical therapy, areas for dinners for families, and they had an outside courtyard to protect the patients. It was very nice. I liked it.

The staff at Greenwood Place seemed very personable and responsive to the residents. They seemed to care about the situation my mother and I are in. The facility was very clean for the most part. Looking at one of the rooms, the initial feeling I had was it's a little small, but seeing how other residents use their spaces, you can see a nice, decent quality for a memory care setup. Derek was my main contact, but I also met Ginger and one other person. It was nice to know that the memory care was all-inclusive and the fact that the staff would be there to help mom stay on schedule if she stays there. They would come see her, bring her out daily, and make sure she was taking her meds, and have her dietary control. They also have musicians that would come and play and they would have occasional parties where families come and spend time with their loved ones.

I saw assisted living at Greenwood Place. I didn't go over to the memory care part because the lady told me that the rooms in the memory care part is just the same like the rooms in the assisted living part. The place was cheery. They were decorating because they celebrate different holidays. They were getting ready to celebrate Mardi Gras, so it seemed like they have a lot of activities for the folks. Everybody has their own room there with their own bathroom with a little refrigerator. Everything was looking very clean, and I saw the staff with some of the people that live there mulling around. The staff members seemed to know them by name. The people seemed happy and well cared for. They had a salon. It looked like it was really clean and well kept. It's close to Marietta Square where there are activities. If my aunt were to live there and there was a concert in the park, I could pick her up; it wouldn't be too far. On the main street, there are grocery stores and Marietta High School right across the street. The location is very nice. Part of the street of Whitlock Avenue has beautiful trees, and there are beautiful antebellum homes on each side.

When I went to Greenwood Place, I didn't have an appointment there, but I was able to speak with someone that I had spoken to prior. She made time for me and that was really nice. They also allowed my daughter to come in with me, so that was more convenient. I was able to see more and ask more questions in detail. I liked their activities too. They seemed to have even more activity, including gardening and things like that. There were ladies getting their hair done, and they were all dressed up going into the beauty salon. They were all in a good mood. It was nice to see the residents enjoying their time. The person who gave us the tour was great as well.

I put my mother at Greenwood Place as it was close to home and a reasonable kind. The people seemed to be very good with my mom, and they have a lot going on for their residents. The food seems OK, and the staff seems very appropriate and caring.

Greenwood Place was a very nice facility, but they did not want Mom’s dog brought in. The rooms were very nice and very clean.

Greenwood Place is really flexible, and I like the place. They let my ex-husband do what he likes to do. They have bingo and all kinds of activities. It’s clean, it’s nice, and the food and the staff are good.
