Last January, I found myself looking for a residential placement for my dad after his in home care was no longer in his best interest. Autumn Breeze was one of the facilities that was recommended. Upon arrival, we were received warmly and within minutes we were able to do an on-site assessment of the facility and staff. This was impressive as often people try to get their house in order first to give a less than organic view of the day to day reality. I knew then that this was the place! My dad remains happy, the staff continues to be caring and most professional and always responsive to any questions that I may have. My focus is on "care" and nothing else. Kudos to the entire staff for your dedication and commitment to patients and families. I commend you for a job well done as you provide continuous "care" to all patients. Hats off to a great team of rock stars!

I am a family member of a former resident at Autumn Breeze. The care they gave to my Aunt was the best. They were always so nice and helpful any time I came to visit. The building is older, but it is kept very neat and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My father was at Autumn Breeze Healthcare Center and it was very nasty. The conditions were not clean, and the food was really bad. It was very basic, and there was no taste to it. There was clothing that was missing, and food was taken from him. Some of the staff were nice, but a lot of them weren't. They were just doing their job. My dad had a roommate. He had his bed, which was more like a cot on the right-hand side. His roommate had a cot that was on the same side. They didn't have any space for them to have their clothing. They had some of their clothes hanging up in the shower stall, which was not being used. They had a little toilet room with a sink. The toilet wasn't cleaned that much. I found myself cleaning there quite a bit. The last experience that I had with them was when I went back there to get his clothes after I had put him in the hospital, they had another patient wearing his clothes. They said that the ceiling in this particular guy's room had caved in, so they put him in my dad's room, in my dad's bed, wearing my dad's clothes.

They only have ONE cellphone for ALL the patients to use. Therefore it's impossible to ever talk to a family member. I continue to leave my phone number but never get called. You have to make an appointment to see the patient. My friend has not been cared for or even bathed. No TV or reading materials. Awful place!

This facility is very substandard. My mother was admitted their last July with dementia. She was walking and eating on her own prior to her admittance, Within 2-3 weeks she was admitted to the hospital for dehydration and high sodium level. She never walked again. She was admitted to the hospital again in December with the exact same symptoms. She passed away a week or 2 later in hospice. The staff is very unprofessional and lack compassion. Do not send your love ones to this facility. Wasn't giving proper updates of my mom's condition. A very horrible experience. My mother deserved better.

The first night my mother was in this facility, after having been told she has advanced dementia, she evidently was left unsupervised and started going thru another residents chest of drawers. The lady got up and started a fight with my mom. My mother lived 82 years and never broke a bone in her body, within the first 24 hours at this joint, she has a broken hip, they sent her thru every medical test possible to make sure there was a huge Medicare bill, then she had to be operated on anyway. When I called to request a timeline if events (I don't know if she got injured in the fight or later) I was told all information had to go thru my older brother. Just don't do it.

My dad was in this facility 10 years ago. Everyone in the family was happy with the staff, the cleanliness, the attitude of all the employees. We had moved dad from a much more expensive, great-looking place with terrible service and we didn't regret it. Yesterday we brought my 97 y/o mother who had been living alone but had reached the point where she could no longer do the things she needed to do for herself. She looks better after one day here!

This place is horrible! They have terrible food...give diabetic patients same diet as others. Only 2 baths per week....totally understaffed and over worked . Interview the patients before you bring a loved one here. Their management is no management. they would be shut down if inspected. Only give one star because it is a roof however a leaking one.

Autumn Breeze is awesome. It's always clean. The staff is very nice to us. They treat you like somebody and not just a number. We play bingo, have movies and a popcorn day. Gigi, the activities director and her assistant, Nicole, are really good. Every month, they take us out to Walmart as well as a trip to go out and eat. It's a lot of fun. We're not stuck doing the same old thing every day. It's very nice to be here. The place is always clean. All the rooms have bathrooms and it's cleaned every day. They make my bed and straighten up my room, so I don't have to do that. They make home-cooked food. They make the best macaroni and cheese I've ever eaten, and coleslaw, too. The desserts are all good. Being here is not that bad at all. I like the people and I get along with them. It's one of the best nursing homes I've ever been to. I used to work in a nursing home.

The nursing facility in Autumn Breeze is old but it's clean. They seemed to try and maintain the facility and fix things but there are parts of it that needs to be painted. I've talked to people and there were complaints where they were not properly kept clean to things missing. I haven't talked to anybody who is satisfied there.

My grandmother had a very serious stroke five years ago. It rendered her nearly helpless. I've been taking care of her every need since then. Last year, I had to return to work because of my financial situation, so I looked into Autumn Breeze Healthcare Center in Marietta, GA. The place was phenomenally clean and the staff was on top of their game. I was greeted with smiles and as I walked around on the very extensive tour, I saw nothing but smiles on all the patients as well. My grandmother has been staying there for one year and one month now. She's out of it most days meaning that she's not very responsive. But her health is good considering what she's been through. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in the area who needs the services of a nursing home. The staff here really does a wonderful job of making their residents feel comfortable and as if they were home.
