My dad moved into A.G. Rhodes Cobb in February. It's beautiful, welcoming, well kept, and well landscaped. It's a nice place to visit, especially outside in the courtyard. Everyone has been very good, very professional, and very welcoming to my family, too. No one is allowed inside, and I am glad that they have strict COVID precautions, but the staff has been very gracious about allowing us to see my father through Zoom once or twice a week, as well as outside visits. I like the amenity of their virtual visits. He's even able to watch his normal worship via Zoom on Sunday mornings, which is a great social opportunity for him. It's expensive to stay there, but it's invaluable to have him in that place and getting the care he needs now. They need to lower their daily rate or offer subsidies or grants, even if we're working-class people.

I got my mother a bed at A.G. Rhodes Cobb. I went over there yesterday and looked at it, and we accepted the room and she's supposed to be transferred sometime today. As of now, I've got nothing negative to say about it. It was nice. It was clean. They just had remodeled the rooms. The people are extremely kind. The lady stayed and took me around, so I appreciated that. She'll be sharing a room, so there's not a lot of room. It's kind of small. They got a visiting room because the room just didn't have a lot of room for chairs to be put. It all worked out. It's also a nursing home. They have a separate section for rehab.

They left my loved one sitting in her urine all night, sometimes it would dry in between, and she would wet herself again. Her call light was often left for hours on end. When help arrived she was greeted with "What you want?!" They could not get her medication straight and she was declining day by day. Day staff/Therapy staff seemed good, but the evenings were nothing short of negligent. The entire place needs refreshing in both atmosphere and approach.

I have worked at nursing homes in the past. As a family member of a patient, I found this facility to be a disappointment. When we visited the site we were super excited to send our relative there because of all of the amenities and the facility looked pretty. Firstly, they are unorganized and have no systems to manage paperwork. You may have to call them 20 times to even get a response. Your best bet is just to show up unannounced. They don't manage records properly and they just show an overall lack of care and concern for some of their patients. When your family members get older they need to be around people who are patient. compassionate and who won't give up on them and toss then to the side. If you have a perfect patient they may do alright. Otherwise, be careful

My neice was in A.G. Rhodes. It was a very structurally nice facility. Everything was pleasant and wonderful including the administrative staff and the facility itself. But I have reservations about their staff once you get to the second floor and third floor. They seemd to have limited training to understand that different patients have different needs; you cannot have a one fits all mentality. That was my only reservation when she was there. That made me uneasy because I had to be there all of the time to make sure things work according to her needs. For example: she has sensitive skin. She needed a microfiber towel to clean her, and they used a wash cloth, so developed a sore that was not taken care of. That’s one of the reasons why I took her home: to take care of the wound. She often used soft tissue to blow her noise; they didn’t do that. That’s the only problem I had there, but otherwise, everything else was perfect. They were very accommodating; however, her timing and their timing was not a fit at first, but after a while, they began to handle it well with her. The very first week, she was very ill and incapable of really picking up. I didn't have the opportunity to go down to the facility that time because she needed more sleep and there are more people. They wake up early in the morning to go down and do the exercises and she couldn’t. The facility itself and the staff were excellent in terms of therapy, but the schedule was not good for her. The food was excellent, and the care was OK.

A G Rhodes - Please read this review it will help you to make and advised choice about where your family member will get the care they need. That place is not AG Rhodes in the first 24 hours my mother went from an functioning Dementia patient to someone I did not know. She was put in a room with someone who screamed all night long and kept her awake. Even though Natalie described the roommate as a nice and harmless women who had a loud voice. Actually was severely mentally ill. They also gave her the wrong strength of her medicine even though I brought all medicine in. It took 2 days to get permission to change and a lot of time gone from my job. She had a special cream for her skin rash which they said they didn't have but I gave it too them though (but found in pill drawer 4 days later) Not soon enough since they put some topical cream on her that made her rash horrible. So in 6 days she went from a calm agreeable women to someone out of control and talking to her TV and the walls and then they kicked her out for being out of control, which they created by there treatment and actions to her and me. So I would advise you all to take a closer look at this place it is not what it appears to be from the outside. Also be warned the social worker Brandi on the 2nd floor does not know how to do her job nor talk to the patients or there families or deal with the public at all. She actually is not a social worker just given that title. It really deserves a warning sign not a rating

AG Rhodes Health and Rehab was recommended to me by my boss. Everything is great. I don't have any complaints at all. The staff are very friendly and wonderful, always happy to help, and anyone will answer any questions at any time. They treat my father with respect and they ask him what he wants. It is a good place for him. I highly would recommend this facility.

We visited a number of different facilities and we talked to family members of residents. That helped us decide that this place was the best for us. It is such a nice facility. It is very clean and friendly, and the gardens are beautiful. It is such a beautiful facility I could live there! It is almost like a resort! My father shares a room and there is enough room for us to bring in his recliner and set it next to his bed. He has 3 pieces of furtniture there, his own closet, and a beautiful view of the garden and waterfalls. The residents love it there. They provide entertainment for the residents. The food is so good my father has actually gained weight. I ate there last week and had fried chicken, grits and the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life!

It was absolutely an amazing an experience with AG Rhodes Health & Rehab. They were wonderful. The staff was very good, they would call me regularly how my mother was doing. The director was really great, and my mom loved all of her nurses. It really was a good place to live in. She was in an assisted living before and she wasn't happy. But when she moved here, which we thought was going to be traumatic, it turned out that she loved it. She was happy and she enjoyed her stay there. It wasn't very long, she passed away after 12 days. But that was probably the first time in years that she really was happy.
