My daddy was a resident here from Aug 24,2018 until September 25,2018. I could not have asked for a better facility for his care. From Administration to Housekeeping, the level of care and love my daddy received was 110% above board. The quality of care and love shown to my daddy from Bolingreen have forever changed my thoughts on long term facilities! I love you all and thanks for everything! Susan

My mother was a resident of Bolingreen Health & Rehabilitation. She loved it because they offered activities and everyone treated her really nice. The main thing is they were understaffed. The food was wonderful sometimes, but if they changed companies that provided the food, sometimes it wouldn't be very good. The last couple of years she was there she said it was delicious. She was in a semi-private, and then at the end they had four or five people in a room because of COVID. When she was in the semi-private and it was nice. She was with another lady, but that lady had some problems, and so she was out in the facility. So, my mother was there a lot by herself, but she enjoyed that. She watched TV and had friends over. She had three meals a day and, and it was 24-hour care. There were times that they would take a busload and go to the games or take them out to eat. They would have outdoor activities, like they would have a tailgate party, and they would grill. There were different things that they did that my mother really enjoyed. They were understaffed, and my mom's needs were not met. It would be hours before she would get what she needed. There were times that I bought my mother things and they would disappear. They had a lot of turnovers.

My mother is a resident at this facility even though she has only been there a short time I have been very pleased with the care she is receiving. After touring many facilities this was above and beyond what the others had to offer. I would recommend this facility to anyone considering having to make this decision.

I visited Bolingreen Nursing Home several times while my grandmother was a patient there. The facility was clean every time I went there. The entrance included a sitting area that was always tidy and decorated nicely. There was no bad odor in Bolingreen, like I have witnessed in other similar facilities. For the most part the staff was nice and courteous. There were a few occasions that I came in contact with a nurse or nurse assistant who seemed to be having a bad day, but that did not happen often. My grandmother was incontinent and was clean and dry whenever I visited her. In my opinion the staff did a good job caring for her. They always seemed to be happy to see me when I visited, and respected our privacy when I was there. If a nurse walked in and it seemed that we were having a "family moment" she would politely smile and leave. The, return later.

My father spent some time in the Bolingreen Nursing Center near the end of his life. It was obviously a hard time for our family but, as nursing homes go, this one was definitely professional and pleasant. The staff seemed to know what they were doing and were comfortable around the patients. It was obvious that they really cared about patients' well being--so important when dealing with seniors that may not be able to describe problems to staff. One nurse in particular--Mrs. Freeman, I think--was consistently positive and helpful during my father's stay. The grounds and the facility itself were clean and well-kept. The main problem with this facility, though, is its distance from everything. It's kind of out in the country. We ended up moving my father to a different nursing home so we wouldn't have to make such a long drive, but we preferred Bolingreen and if the drive isn't too far from you, I would definitely recommend it.
