My sister is in Traditions Health and Rehabilitation. It's very clean. The CNAs are nice. The food is decent. She's in long-term skilled nursing. The grounds are kept clean. It's a very nice facility. I fed her meatloaf, peas, and potato. There's something for them to do every day. They have an activities calendar. She's not able to do anything right now though. She's only doing the rehab part. It's only been a little bit, but the staff is pretty nice. Everybody is pleasant. I don't have any issues. They keep the place pretty nice. I like that all the residents are neat and clean. Nobody is like laying around in hospital gowns. Everybody's dressed.

The entire facility needs to be rehabbed. It's very depressing to visit when you have family staying here. The majority of the staff I have interacted with (who will be the care givers) act as thought you are doing them a favor. They are slow, tired and act as thought they don't care, they just want you to get out of their face. There are VERY few staff members that you will have any success with when it comes to caring for your family or loved one. When you call, they will not call you back. If you happen to get someone on the phone they don't know anything. The ones who are in administrative rolls have been better trained at passing the buck so it can be less noticeable. My mother has gotten worse being here. Please note they do not communicate well with progress and you will have to follow up on EVERYTHING!

Traditions had the poorest customer service of any facility I visited. The admissions coordinator would not return my call, nor would the director. Even after leaving several messages, I was unable to get in contact with anyone to answer my questions. Finally two days later, after calling the hospital social worker, I found out that they would not be able to meet our needs.

I was looking for a place for my grandmother and am very skeptical of nursing homes. However, Traditions was very clean and did not stink, like some other ones I visited. Activities Personnel was very nice to me. She smiled and even offered to visit with my grandmother. I like the private rooms but wish they would put a television in there. I will most definitely look into Traditions when my grandmother gets out of the hospital.

Traditions is larger as far as the amount of people they serve, but I do not think they are too many for the staff. It was clean. Someone we know stays there. They have many activities, and that is one thing we like about it. They have card games. They take them to the park. They take them to church. For those who can walk, they take them downtown. They take them out of the facility to where they want to go, and that's the part that we like.

Traditions Health and Rehabilitation have a complete staff because they have a full time nursing staff, they provide a lot of activities for the patient, and the doctors can actually come and see you. It tends to be a little expensive, and that’s the only drawback. The rooms are complete; they have a bed and a wardrobe where you keep your clothes on a night stand. The rooms were very nice and clean.

My husband was admitted to Traditions in May, 2015. He could not walk and had no memory of his week-long hospital stay due to a UTI. He left Traditions August 31 walking, his memory much better and grateful for the attention he received. The admissions office was most helpful throughout his stay. Everyone from the skilled nursing staff, the physical therapists, in the front office personnel, and the folks working in the dining room, and those doing maintenance worked hard, efficiently and cheerfully to make his stay a successful one. Concerns were taken care of immediately. The front porch was a wonderful place to get acquainted with patients and their families. My husband liked the food and the place was clean. We are very grateful.

Traditions are very caring and attentive. They have really turned my mother’s life around. She was in stage 4, and now she is alert and talking. It was a really good experience. They keep her clean. The rooms were spacious, it has a window, and it has been good. She has a friend. They have church and game time, and I saw them do the rehab. The food looks normal to me, and they have everything from therapeutic food to puree to regular food.

I visited Traditions, and it seemed to be a nice place. It was clean. The staff seemed professional. I didn't see any disgruntled patients. I left with a very decent impression of it. They showed me the room, and if I had chosen that facility, it would have been a private room. It was large enough to be a single private room. It had its own temperature control. It had a bed, but there was no television, so you would have to bring your own television. Overall, it was pretty decent. They had activities like therapy. They had the recreation lounge where you could have a family meeting, watch TV, or have dinner with the family. On certain days they had bingo, movie nights, and other activities for the patients to be involved in. If the patient was able to get up and walk, they could freely roam the whole floor. It wasn't like the patients were on lock down.

Traditions was clean, and it was nice. The staff was busy cleaning, working, and attending to their residents. They had a nice cafeteria where you could eat with your family member for a small fee and all different kinds of things. There was no smell or anything like that, and they seemed to be keeping themselves in order.

At the moment, my mom is in Traditions Health and Rehab Center. I had already recommended this place to others. This was our choice because it's close to my home. She has been there since July. They have private rooms there. Food is not that great, but they have a lot of activities like bingo, different church activities and various types of choirs, etc. What I like best about this facility is that they seem to care about the well-being of my mother's health and that it is a very clean facility. I also like the fact that their staff members are all professional.

Traditions Health and Rehabilitation has a wonderful staff of caregivers. They took great care of my aunt who was a resident there for a year due to a stroke. Traditions has a quality unlike any other facility, because they treat their residents like family. The staff at traditions are very caring and nurturing and show a genuine care for their residents and families. There is a home like quality to there environment. I greatly appreciated their quality of service at how they took such wonderful care of my aunt, who recently passed peacefully in her sleep on thanksgiving morning. I am greatful and thankful to the staff at Traditions Health and Rehabilitation for there services

I visited my first nursing home after my uncle collapsed on the floor from a stroke. He has struggled with diabetes and the stroke caused him to lose sensation in his legs. My uncle was a long time hoarder and the hospital decided that the best place for him was a nursing home called Rockdale Healthcare Center. He was unable to pay the monthly price--and to stubborn to sign medicaid documents--and the nursing home refused to take him back after a routine procedure at a nearby hospital. My uncle granted my father power of attorney for both his life and finances and a nursing home, Traditions, volunteered to take him if he would sign the medicaid papers. We were originally worried about Traditions Health and Rehabilitation because of negative reviews that we'd read about online, but quickly came to accept the facility as a second home. Traditions staff greet us with friendly attitudes every time we come by, the upper management helped us through all the difficult paper work, and my Uncle is pleased to be around people his age. Unlike other nursing homes I noted a more relaxed environment where the guests are happy and well treated. On the negative side of things; Traditions seems to be lacking staff and that causes each nurse to take on a heavier work load. They also have a limited number of machines and my uncle has to be wheeled to the hospital every-time he needs a simple procedure done.

My experience with Traditions Nursing Home was a good experience for the most part. All of the staff members knew the patient and their respective families by name. The director was very friendly and would speak to you whenever she saw you. This facility was a very good facility. The facility's staff would make sure that they abided by doctor's orders and would keep a watchful eye on patients who would try to escape from the facility. I only visit this facility a few times a month but, whenever I visit I am welcomed with smiles and stories of what is going on with my grandfather. The entire staff is great at keeping you updated on all information regarding your loved one. This facility has great activities for your family member to attend: from church, to bingo, to sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine or the chirp of birds and the fluttering of bees. I am really impressed by the professionalism of the entire staff.
