The rooms are spacious and have updated palates. The food is good, and there are several choices at each meal. The caregivers are very caring and go out of their way to make the resident feel comfortable. They encourage them to get involved. The staff is very courteous and helpful. This is a very active community. There are always people in the lobby areas, craft and game room, dining hall, and outside weather permitting. They include new people and have ambassadors to help new residents get acclimated and feel included. They met us at the door when we arrived! That was a great feeling! There is a private dining room for family events. They go out to eat and shopping on the van. Publix and the nail shop are across the street. I would recommend this community to everyone.

Mom wes here for just the last couple months of her life. The staff is amazing and friendly. The food was really good compared to where she used to live. Mom passed away before I could settle into a routine with billing and the pharmacy vendor. Those were the only issues I had with Sunrise. Room and all services are billed on a daily rate so it is hard to plan a budget for someone on a fixed income. Mom used Express Scripts for prescriptions because of her military discount. One of the bills from Guardian Pharmacy shows that they had filled prescriptions that were meant for Express Scripts. Mom passed away almost 3 weeks ago and at this time I have not even tried to dispute that issue yet. I will address that after her out of state funeral service. Overall, I would still STRONGLY recommend Sunrise for your loved one.

Sunrise at Five Forks is a very nice place with extraordinary staff. From our first meeting of introduction to the ongoing care, it has been everything we could have hoped for. Our family member is safe, gets his meds each day, hygiene has been excellent, food really good as he has gained weight, happy, content and looks at his room as "his" home. Sunrise has not only helped him but also given us peace of mind that he is being cared for in a manner that we would want. The care and dedication of the staff is exceptional.

We toured Sunrise at Five Forks. The thing that I liked the least was all the workers were still wearing masks. They were friendly and they were pleasant, but I didn't have a good sense of a joyful environment there. Greg was very friendly. He was very helpful and he showed me around. We didn't have to make it a long conversation because I had visited another Sunrise house already, so I had a pretty good idea of what that company does. It was completely different. The building was structured differently, so the room configurations were a little different in some cases. However, because they're wearing their masks, you can't see smiles and you don't have that intimacy of countenance that you can see and get comfort from. I've never been a fan of masks, I have never been willing to wear masks, and I'm against masks, so that was an immediate turnoff for me. I'm not judging their decision to wear them, but I wouldn't want to go there. The best thing is that they have a double room with a hexagon shape. It's beautiful. It could be such a beautiful area. It's all windows. It was a little bit fancier setting. I saw the dining area and some sitting areas. Everything was very nice, clean, and very neat. It was all decorated very pretty. It was a pretty building. It was pretty outside and inside. Greg was the only one that I spoke with, and he was very nice. He answered my questions, and he showed me different styles of rooms. I have no issues with him at all.

My daughter stayed at Sunrise at Five Forks. The intake person was wonderful. She went out of her way to work with the people in the hospital to arrange for her transfer over to Sunrise. The facility itself was lovely and full of sunshine. The people who were there seemed very happy. My daughter's room was very nice. It was very basic. When she arrived, there were welcome balloons in the room. The products that she needed or that we had requested were there, ready for her. The room was very clean. My daughter was very pleased with the food that she was getting. They had a little library. Some organized games were going on. They had physical therapy. They took them on trips or shopping if they needed it. The staff we interacted with were very, very nice. It's pretty pricey.

Sunrise at Five Forks is a very welcoming community. Streisand helped walk us through the process. She was accessible, helpful, and engaging. The staff is really fun and helpful. All of the residents seem really happy. My mother is in the assisted living, and her husband requires a secondary level of care. They engage them every day with activities. They have a couple of activity times. They check on them to make sure that they remember the activity and encourage them to participate each day. They go down for meals and things like that with assistance, if necessary. They have games, a lot of holiday activities, like singing carols and different activities throughout the day. It's been really nice. My parents are eating more than they would eat before. They are eating their breakfasts and dinners, they eat fresh fruits, and sandwiches for snacks. They both need to pick up weight, and they are doing good. Their appetites have improved significantly. It's a little more expensive, but their attentiveness has been great. The value is good, and my stepdad perked up quite a bit. I actually think he will be able to reduce the care he needs.

Sunrise at Five Forks was very beautiful and well kept. The people were hospitable. They answered my questions and everything I wanted to know. The staff seemed very knowledgeable. I was very impressed. I found out a whole lot of important information that I needed to know in terms of the level of care and that kind of thing. The rooms had a very nice layout. They have three meals a day.

We visited Sunrise at Five Forks. They're caring. The place is very clean. The staff is very, very friendly. They tried everything they could to help us, but we just couldn't do it. Their rooms are perfect for people that can do things on their own, but we need just a little bit of assistance. They gave us scones. They were wonderful. The dining area was clean and spacious. When we got there, they were having an exercise class and there was a little group meeting in the bistro that was there. The person who gave the tour was wonderful, very helpful, and very informative.

I visited Sunrise at Five Forks assisted living. I met with the representative first and then we walked to the dining area, the hallways, and visited one room so I could see the size and how they look. We also saw the list of the activities. The room we saw was small with a kitchenette and it's carpeted. The community seemed to be quite well-managed, clean, and up-to-date. I was supposed to talk with one person and then they switched out at the last minute, and she was just a little less prepared for it, I guess.

I went to the Sunrise at Five Forks yesterday. It was very nice there. The rooms were large, very clean, and very pleasant. Everybody in there was extremely nice. The whole staff just seemed to be very welcoming, everybody, even the house dog was nice. I liked that one, they're a little pricier than the other place 'cause it's a little upscale place.

My mom is at Sunrise at Five Forks. She's been there a year now, and we were looking to move and improve our cost. She's 101 and going strong. It's been good. She's been well taken care of, and she's been happy. The staff has been very attentive. The facilities are very clean. The cleanliness is outstanding. They have a courtyard and a nice dining room. She's in the memory care unit. The only shortcoming I think they have is they pretty much just leave them to watch TV. I have not seen activities for memory care. The food is satisfactory. Their apartments are a nice size, but my mother is in one that is much smaller than I would hope. I think we're going to get that taken care of though. Most of the rooms are a nice size.

Sunrise at Five Forks had a hotel atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and I was shown around by the mechanic/engineer who took care of all the issues that cropped up in all of the rooms and with all of the folks. It's more like a hotel. They had different levels, and they had elevators. The dining area is more of a restaurant.

Sunrise at Five Forks is a very nice community, but they don't take Medicaid, and they're a little bit too pricey. The person who gave me the tour was really nice. The place is much more exclusive, but I haven't observed any activities during my visit. They have a lot of amenities in the community, and the place is relatively new.

We went to Sunrise at Five Forks, and it's really nice. They're pricey, but if you can afford it, it's beautiful and very convenient. The dining area was restaurant-style. The residents we saw having a meal seemed to enjoy it. No one was vomiting. They had a lot of activities like exercise, bingo, mind games, trivia games, history games, puzzles, music and religious services. It's quite extensive.

My husband's aunt moved into this facility. And it has been nothing but a NIGHTMARE. We were told such wonderful things..and none of them came true. For the amount of money we're paying, I am so shocked. Do NOT believe their words...rely only on what you personally observe. They seem to have no communication between employees.. and I have been lied to more than once by caregivers. I'm supposed to be able to relax and enjoy our aunt now... but I'm worried sick she's not getting the care she needs. I want her out..but the problem is, I don't know of any good alternatives.i have young kids at home I can't care for her. :( IF I COULD DO ONE THING..IT WOULD BE TO NEVER BELIEVE A WORD THE PEOPLE AT SUNRISE IN LILBURN SAY!!!!!

I chose Sunrise at Five Forks. I just liked their program and what they had to offer; plus their facility is very nice. They are always having some programs every day. There's not a day that goes by that they don't have something to offer either in the way of entertainment, classes, or trips on a regular basis. They have arts and crafts. They do have Bingo, and they also have Scrabble and other word games. They have a walking club and exercise classes.

The staff of Sunrise at Five Forks was wonderful. They were very helpful and very professional. We talked about that they go out shopping, they go to lunch, they'd take drives, and they do crafts. In the memory area, there was a really nice courtyard where they had flowers and plants. It seemed very clean; it was open and bright. It didn't have that gloomy, dark look that we usually think of in this kind of setting, and it was very well-decorated. One of the things that I especially liked down the memory care area, they had by the door like on the wall outside of the door, pictures of the persons from the past who thrived for the residents or who they used to be and that sort of thing, and I was really impressed with it.

The first time I went in, I definitely smelled an odor. The staff was not very attentive. However, the food was delicious and they had some award-winning chefs. They had activities but they were a lot more expensive

Sunrise at Five Forks was a superior place. The facility itself and the decor were all much better than the others I visited. The staff was amazing. When I came back the second time, everybody knew who I was. People who I hadn't even met before were greeting me. Also when I went by, there were residents out on the front porch dancing. I thought they were having a holiday or something. They were just in hallways playing and talking. The caretakers were in the hallways with everybody. It looked like it was a really fun environment. It was an upbeat location. The whole energy over there was really great. I did not dine there but I thought the menu had quite a bit of variety. Also their dining area was nice, it was actually laid out like those in hotels.

When you first walk into the facility, you are warmly greeted by the receptionist. The ambiance is very welcoming in the lobby. The lighting, the plants, the hardwood floors, and open spaces make you feel welcomed and relaxed. The facility portrays a sense of peace, calmness, and cleanliness. There were no foul odors (which, unfortunately are rampant amongst extended living facilities). The grounds boast beautiful gardens with pebble-stoned walkways, wrought iron benches and gazebos. There are many places o sit and visit with your loved ones outside. Also, they have a nice butterfly bush that attracts all sorts of beautiful butterflies (When the season is right). You can see a variety of birds and hear them sing.Inside the rooms themselves, you have the option of a private room and a room with two beds. There is a bathroom equipped with safety equipment to help prevent falls and an an alarm cord you can pull if you're in distress. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
