My dad moved into Legacy Personal Care Home almost a month ago. Right now, everything is going fine. I like that the community is small. For my father, I felt he might need a smaller community so that he could have more one-on-one attention and help. So far, the care has been good because I feel that the staff here is more invested. From what I saw, they're really big on nutrition. They make sure that their residents eat balanced meals. The place is very nice. The rooms are a pretty good size. The living spaces like the dining area, the living room, and the backyard look pretty up to par. There's a garden, and they do have someone who comes in to do haircuts and stuff, but they don't have a room designated for it.

I toured Legacy Personal Care Home. I really like the lady who owned it, and the people there were very nice. It was clean. It just seemed very pleasant. So, I liked all that about it. But it was where it was. It wasn't directly on the real busy road, but it was close enough that if my husband had gotten out of the yard he could have easily gotten down to the busy highway. And that was my big concern because my husband has dementia. I just know him.

Legacy Personal Care Home was small, intimate, and had a very low number of people. There are only six rooms and they have 24/7 CNA care plus the owner worked as a nurse before and she's there every day. A doctor comes in about twice a week, too. I met some of the residents and they were all very happy, cheerful, looked very content, and engaged in some activities in the kitchen. There was also another family visiting and they all seemed very happy that their loved one was there. I just got good vibes from them. Some of the other facilities we went to had to charge me extra to bring the food to my wife's room and didn't know if they could make the stuff that she wants, but the owner of this place said that they will accommodate my wife's meal requirements and what she likes to eat every day. It was also very clean (I'm very picky about tidiness and cleanliness). It's one floor. Although it's an older home, it has been refurbished inside. It's very nice. There were no odors nor clutter and a lot of the furniture looked brand new. So, they keep it looking nice. The tile and the floors were shiny, clean, and all that.

My Mom, who was bedridden, received very good individual care at this facility. The home was very clean and Mom was clean every time we saw her. Anna cooked all meals and Mom enjoyed the meals. There was an extra staff member or 2 that helped with the care of the residents. Anna became almost like family and was very easy to talk with and to inform us of anything that arose with Mom. All in all we were very happy with our experience at this home.

My Godmother and sister were both residents at Legacy. The care they received exceeded our expectations. Anna and her staff go above and beyond as they meet the individual needs of their residents.

My mother lived there 2 years and I was never concerned about her care. Good communication with me while she was there and helped me maneuver through the health care business. Always clean.

My mom is in Legacy Personal Care Home now. It's excellent. They take care of her, so I'm very pleased with them. It's very clean, and the atmosphere is great because there are only six people there. The staff is great. They make the food fresh.
