I am staying at Northstar Square. The staff members are helpful. I couldn't eat my lunch today because it was awful. I can't say that the meals are desirable. When I came out of the hospital, the room was never painted or properly cleaned for a new resident. So I have never been happy with my room. A lot of the residents go to the activities. Sometimes, they have musicians come in.

At Northstar Place, our senior living community, we deliver compassionate care while helping our residents with their daily routine. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. We can also coordinate on-site physical therapy, monthly visits by a physician, and routine visits by a podiatrist and dentist. Thankful for the love, care, and concern that was shown to my Mom by the Northstar Square staff for the 30 days that she was there.

I went to look at Northstar Square. They showed me the rooms. I've seen a few of the patients there. Everything looked good and nice. They explained everything. I went to a room that was vacant. Everybody was polite and nice. They take care of the patients well.

My mom moved into Northstar Place around two weeks ago. It was clean and the people were friendly. It's nice. It is not what she's used to, but I said "Mom, you can't do palatial. You have to go with what you've got." Evidently, I'm told that the room is a little bit bigger than the ones they have. She's got a nice little seating area and a little kitchen area. It has a bedroom and a good-sized bathroom. The dining area is pretty big, and well put together. I didn't enter the lunch area or the dining area. I just looked in as I walked by. I saw jigsaw puzzles on the table, and I was just mainly going back and forth to my mom's room. The staff is friendly. They have a fairly good-sized section for the folks that they work with their memories, but I haven't gone there. They have a lovely entrance way with bench seats and some chairs. We were out there one afternoon just enjoying the breeze. There appears to be enough room for everybody, and the place is well decorated.

My husband moved here. The facility is very clean, the people are very friendly, the residents get along, and I'm very pleased with it. He watches TV, he watches the people, and sometimes he bats ballooms around using fly swatters, which he likes. He has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a sitting area.

I like them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean, and my father has adjusted well there. His room has its own bathroom, a refrigerator, a counter, a closet, a dresser, a bed, and a lamp. The location is very nice and quiet. They have a nice gazebo outside where they can go. Dad likes the food there.
