My sister is in the memory ward of Advanced Health and Rehab of Twiggs County. They don't keep up with things too well, but I haven't had major issues yet. The rooms are sufficient. She's in a double room, and there are two beds in there and a television. It's just a basic room and she's got a closet and drawers on her side. It's kept pretty clean. They were jumping around, dancing and singing along with the music while I was there, and there's a piano as well. They have an activities director.

My sister is in Advanced Health and Rehab of Twiggs County. When I visit them, and when I talk to them, I'm very, very pleased. I think they're caring. I know that they're extremely busy, especially with the COVID epidemic, but they always seem very caring and bend over backwards when I talk to them. However, it's extremely difficult to get a hold of them, and if I call, usually it goes to an answering machine. I always leave my number and a message, and very, very rarely -- I'd say maybe only once or twice -- they return my calls. So that's concerning to me. What I like the best about them is the care and the empathy that I sense from the staff when I talk to them. What I like least is not being able to communicate with them. I live five and a half hours away, so I depend on the telephone to see how they're doing. I would rate the nursing staff a five out of five, and the administrator of staff at a two. My sister isn't able to walk, and they're trying to work with her on that. It's an older facility and it's a bit austere. It appears to be very clean and well-organized. The value for the money is average.

My father has been in Jeffersonville Nursing & Rehab for eight months now. The staff is pretty nice, but the facility is old. They have some rundown issues like the paint in the room. The main issue that my mom was having there was tat it's very difficult for her to go visit him -- it's about a 45-minute drive. They look like hospital rooms to me, and he is in a room for two people like a dormitory. It's adequate, but not really spacious. Each person has his own small twin bed, a little dresser, and one chair, and there is a bathroom in between. We went during lunch a couple of times. He is not really difficult to please, so he didn't have any complaints. They have a dining room, and if he is doing OK, he will roll down in his wheelchair to the dining area. It's commissary type, like a regular dining hall, and it has a TV in there. He told my mom recently that the nurses were really nice to him, and he likes it. They communicate with him.
