I didn't want to put my mama in any facility but it came to a point where I had to. Since day one these people have treated my mama like family. She loves them so much and they are so good to her. I know she's in the best place for her. The staff and management are amazing!

My friend is now in Brightmoor Health Care. Basically it was for rehab because my friend had an amputation. My observation there has been fine, but what matters most is her observation. We're very satisfied with the care that she has been given. In my opinion, like I said, I'm not the one receiving care, but I think they're a four. It's clean and uncluttered. The cleanliness is great. Another thing I would say is that, during this COVID-19, they have good security as far as that is concerned, as far as allowing people in and out, so they monitor that. Everyone wears a mask. Like I said I didn't get into the recesses of the place because of the coronavirus, but in my opinion, they do a good job. The place was clean and organized.

My mother was in Brightmoor Healthcare, and it was horrible. She was having bad infections every week and they couldn't get in touch with the doctor to put her on antibiotics. She sat in her room all day long without any activities. Then they quit rehab because her sugar was high. It was a fancy and pretty place. The nurses did what they could but they can't administer medicine when the doctor won't call them back. The food is really good, which is why my mom gained so much weight and her sugar was high all the time. They won't put her on a diabetic nutritional diet and gave her sweets and carbs. She likes the food so much.

This facility served good food to its clients, and offered breakfast, lunch and dinner to visitors to the facility. Day rooms with television were offered to clients. Clients were offered many activities. There were aviaries with finches for the clientele to enjoy. The facility was always festively decorated for whatever season of the year it was. The staff was always friendly and polite. There was never a problem with signing my mother out. There were comfortable places to visit with clientele outside. Clientele were allowed to decorate the area outside of there window with birdhouses, birdbaths and other outside decorations.
