I've been in Brightmoor for three or four years, and I like it here. It is nice. They have a waiting list here. There are probably 55 or more residents here. They take us fishing, on picnics, and we have bingo.

We visited Brightmoor. The rooms were clean, not worn out, and well-cared for. There were 2 people to a room. The buildings were clean and well-kept; there were not a lot of grounds, but it was well-kept. There were plants and flowers in places, and they were pretty. The staff was nice, informative, and interested in her job.

Brightmoor Senior Living was very clean, but at that time, they didn't have any space available. The place was very lovely and had a lot of flowers.

The staff members here always behaved in a professional manner, whether with resident or visitors. The doctors here were very good with informing us about my grandmothers condition - she had dementia and later we found out that she had stomach cancer which is non-treatable. The doctors, nurses, and even the aides made me feelcomfortable about leaving her there. There is also alot for the residents to do, and even though my grandma didnt play because of her conditions - bingo seems to be the main attraction, I even enjoyed watching the other eldery folks getting excited about playing. Unless it's late at night, most of the residents are visiting and talking with each other, not just sitting alone in their rooms. They certainly were not bored here and all seemed to be well cared for. This was a very sad time for my family and could have been terribly painful. Instead, the staff here did every thing possible to make my grandma comfortable and happy during her last days.

Overall, I had a good experience with this facility. The location is great and teh scenery for the guests is very pleasurable. The staff was attentive and caring. I never had any issues reaching the staff. My grandfather was given ample oppurtunity to participate in activities and to have fun. The patients that I saw on my visits all seemed to be happy with their care. I know several other people who have used this facility and they all have nothing but positive things to saw about it. The staff pays very close attention to detail in order to get residents safe. My grandfather suffered from a debilitating disease and to my knowledge always recieved his medicine and treatments on a timely basis. The facility often held events for family and friends to participate in with the guests. Overall, I was very pleased with the care that my grandfather recieved at this facility.
