My mother-in-law is a resident of Governor's Glen Assisted Living. It's close to us, she likes it over there, and the people always act really nice. They're nice to her and nice to us. The rooms are good, the food is good, and she apparently likes it. The staff members I have dealt with go out of their way to be nice to you. They have a TV for them to watch, they have somebody come in and sing, and they have church services. The atmosphere is really good, it's clean, and it doesn't smell bad.

My mother was at Governor's Glen Assisted Living. It had very friendly personnel and cooperative management. My mother was content there. She had a very nice room too. The area where she was had recently been remodeled, so they had new wooden floors and the walls were all freshly painted. Her room was attractive, spacious, and clean. They had a lady that engaged residents in activities like painting and puzzles. They would take take them out on the front porch from time to time and play music for them. They would slice some watermelon and let them eat it. So they involved them in some nice activities.

Governor's Glen is a place where you can be comfortable. It's like being in your own home, with your own room, but with other people in it. It's a nice place. The staff was professional and they care. The rooms were nice, clean, and they had their own bathrooms.

I liked the location of Governor’s Glen and thought it would be good for respite for my husband, but they were a little farther away than I wanted it to be. The guy who showed me around was very friendly and very informative. I really didn’t have anything bad to say about it. I liked that it was kind of small, too.

Governor's Glen didn't have quite as homey a feeling, but it was very nice. I was very impressed with the staff who takes you around and made me feel like I would have some kind of confidence that my mother was going to get what they're saying they are going to give her. They seemed to have quite a bit going, like taking them outdoors. They have their activities posted; they seem to have activities every day, and they check on them regularly during the day. They don't just leave them. They were very good.

Governor's Glen serves 3 meals and snacks in between. We didn’t get to meet all of the staff, but we did meet was friendly ones. They seemed to be nice people. However, the salesman wasn’t very good. He just didn’t sell this place like a real salesman would do it. He just showed the place around. But I did like the community.

I visited Governor's Glen. I think it’s a very nice facility and probably where I’ll put my mom. The rooms were pretty nice, a pretty decent size, and everything was clean. The community was comfortable and nice. The staff showed me where the dining room was located and how some of the residents were out in the area where they watch TV, so everything was in order.

Governor's Glen was very nice. The place was beautiful. If all goes well, this would probably be my first choice because I liked the facility. They had exercises and quite a bit of activities for the patients, and I thought that was very nice because that is what my sister needs. I liked the way it was setup. It was clean.

My mother is in Governors Glen. It has a safe, secure and healthy atmosphere. It is clean and well kept. The staff is professional. They always resolve any issue that I have. Their dining room is adequate. However, they can improve on their communication with the family. I am recommending them to others.

The staff was vey professional. The center was extremely clean. The food was very tasteful and well put together by a chef. I didn't see too much going on it was a Sunday so many were in Bible Study. Others were watching television and doing karaoke.
