Seems like it’s about money. Just received a threat. If you can’t pay. Legal actions will be taken at the families expense. No phone calls prior to the threat. No compassion period. I hope no other family is being treated in this manor. Tried to call and the phones in a patients room. She asked me to see if they’d come get it.

My parent was here and at first everything seemed great. I learned real quick that if the patient isn't just willing to set around they don't want to deal with them. My parent was very mobile and talkative and they just didn't want to deal with him. They sent him to the hospital and discharged him as soon as he got there. He had sores and bruises. There was a sore on his big toe that was allowed to get so bad his ankle was swollen and it was hot to the touch.

Ridgewood Manor is an amazing peaceful place that gives their patients their full attention. The staff is professional yet compassionate. From the moment I entered their doors they welcomed me and ask me how they can help me. I felt the warm compassion and knew that if I placed a loved one here they would be treated with dignity and respect. The patients were clean, bright and alert. The patients were active and busy, up and about. The bedridden patients were also alert and engaged. The professional staff is well educated and trained to aid in the healing process. There are short and long term stays available. The rooms are standard size, very clean and well maintained. The common areas are decorated nicely and the grounds are simply beautiful. This is a beautiful part of the country. I saw a few of the patients sitting in front of the windows enjoying the scenery. The menu is well planned and many amazing healthy options. It is encouraging that the old age home of the past is GONE!!! There is a special climate in these new age homes that aid in enjoying life no matter the circumstances even a smile can make the difference for a senior here and it is clear the staff understands this. Simple compassion can heal and this facility understands this in mass. I highly recommend this Ridgewood. Amazing place I would place my loved one here.
