Oaks at Dalton was a very nice place. The people running it were great. The atmosphere was very quiet. I was kind of surprised that they don't have scheduled activities on the weekends. The facility was well laid out. The rooms were nice. They have the advantage of being able to go outside. They have single rooms and double rooms.

I went to look at Oaks at Dalton. It was a really nice place. When I get really old, I'd like to go there. I liked that they had 24-hour on-call staff. The rooms were nice. I saw a one-bedroom apartment, and you have your own TV in your room. It was just a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The staff seemed like they really take pride in their job and they care for people. That's what struck me the most about them. The dining area was really nice. The groundwork was nice. It was like a big upscale apartment complex from the outside when I first pulled up. They also had a handicapped parking area, that's very convenient.

We took my grandfather down at Oaks at Dalton and took a look inside. The people were very nice. It was a very clean place and there were residents around his age. We talked to several different ladies and they were very nice and very helpful. They were telling us about how they take them on trips (whether they take them out to an apple house to pick apples or do picnics), take care of their meals, their medications, even do games, and different stuff. So, he would like to have that, because he would be getting out and doing stuff. Plus, if I wanted to go and get him, we could come to pick him up, take him out for the day, and then just bring him back. They had a little bit of work going on when we were there, but it looked like a nice facility. The dining area was very clean. Everything seemed pretty good.

Oaks at Dalton only has assisted living. It's a beautiful place and everything, but they just could not provide the care that my husband needed. The place was gorgeous and I've had several people there that I've known, and every time I've ever gone, it's always been very good. They do not have a kitchenette, but they can have a microwave, they can have a refrigerator and they'll have their own furniture. The single rooms are very big, they have just been remodeled and everything is gorgeous. The staff who gave the tour was very full of information, very kind, very considerate and very true. She tried to help us any way she could, she gave us further information about places that we may look at and everything. The facility was very clean, there was no smell, it was very nice.

My mother and my aunt were here. The staff was caring, and the activities director had so many ideas! She kept it fun with lots of activities, trips and crafts.

It had everything. They had awesome, friendly staff. The rooms and hallways were newer on the assisted side. They could improve by having more independent living. I would recommend it.

So far we've had a very positive experience. My mom is in an efficiency kind of apartment setting with her own thing, and like I said they have been very responsive to any concerns or needs we have, so I feel like she in being taken care of. They do Bingo almost every day, and they have devotion every day and do some stretching exercises with them after that. They give them rides when the weather is nice; they get them out. My mother likes the food, and she has no complaints at all about the food, which is very important. I guess the friendly response of the staff is what I like most about them.
