My mother is currently a resident and she is very happy. She has formed a number of friendships in the year that she has been there. They have some newer staff that are fantastic and communication when mom needs something has been very easy. The facility is clean, and well kept and the food is very good. I highly recommend this community. No place is perfect, but they definitely care!!!

We had 2 family members in this residence and had to move both due to sub-par care. The first resident was improperly cared for after a fall and forced to stand on what ultimately was a broken hip. Reports of the incident were then inaccurately reported to the home office. Multiple attempts to work with the home office resulted in no returned phone calls and no corrective action. The point of contact for the family was never notified and the resident had to call directly to reach the family. The second family member was in memory care and moved due to lack of hygiene care and the facilities inability to stop a male resident that continually entered her room and scared her even after multiple requests from the family to care staff. Facilty often had a bad smell unless it was just after cleaning day. Most of the staff were friendly but there have been lots of turnover and they were using contract staff not permanent employees for many roles.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY! The management is not good. The caregivers do not care. The building is run down…not ran good and there are much better options out there. Steer clear of this building! It is so sad to see the fall of this company and this building especially.

I like Oaks at Post Road. They offer age in place and that was of great appeal to me. They showed me both assisted living and memory care. At that time, we were more interested in assisted living. I like its proximity to me. I like the size of the rooms. It seemed very appealing. The courtyard was well kept up. I spoke to Rebecca there and she was very helpful. I like the fact that they were able to call for medical transport and that could be provided for free. I found the layout very easy to follow and I found the premises very clean.

I toured Oaks at Post Road. Everything looked good. The room was pretty spacey. There's an adequate amount of space. I had an appointment at 9 but the person had issues and didn't show up, so some assistant showed me around for about 45 minutes. It wasn't a show, but it was a secondary show. I saw the recreation area and a couple of different outside spaces. There's a sitting area outside. I saw the therapy room, I had seen several rooms like studio rooms, and I also saw the kitchen area, and the dining room. The place was pretty clean. It's big but it's not that big.

I toured Oaks at Post Road. It was actually my favorite. It was one level. The rooms were larger. There were two closets: a walk-in and a regular closet. It was a little bit older, but it was much smaller. The other facility has like 160 residents, and Oaks only has 48; I like the size of that. It was more individualized attention to the residents. I actually witnessed one of the staff members go outside and sit with one of the residents for a half an hour in a rocking chair in the sunshine; I really like that. I like the individual care. The dining area was very open. The tables were set, and I like that the dining room and the TV room were very close to each other. They weren't separate rooms. It was a very open area, very bright, and clean. I did see the memory care as well, and I really like that. It was very open, very clean, and very airy with lots and lots of light. They did show me the salon. They didn't have a separate area for recreation. I liked the layout because you have the common area, the dining room, the sitting area, and then you have the bedrooms off to the side. It was very open, and it seemed to me that the staff could really keep an eye on people. Inside and outside were very well kept. The inside was clean, bright, and airy. The outside looked very nice, like the grass was cut and hedges were trimmed.

I was very impressed with Oaks at Post Road. I like the place, I like the facility that I saw, and I like the rooms that they had available. The people I talked with, I got a lot of information from them. So they're still in consideration for me. Talking with the staff that I saw, or nurses, they seemed like they knew what they were doing. They said they have ways to work with doctors, they have certain doctors come on-site if you need them. So it just seems like a well-run place, from what I can tell, and I was there for just an hour.

My wife moved into Oaks at Post Road. We're satisfied with the facility. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and they were good folks. I saw some pictures of it. My sister was over there and had lunch today there. We put the furniture in and decorated it. They had come in last week and repainted, so it was all nice fresh walls, which made it really nice to settle on in and it worked out well. We got visibility of the kind of things that my wife could be involved in. There's something almost every day there that she could be involved in if she chooses because she's quite active and very mobile. My sister was impressed with the food. I got a critique on the various places, and Oaks at Post Road was consistently a fairly high mark. And it's only three miles from my house, which also is a convenience factor, too. It will be easier for me to zip over there and see my wife from time to time.

The Oaks at Post Road is a very nice community. The tour was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. We looked at their independent living and they transition to memory care. They also transition to hospice. I looked at a one-bedroom apartment. You get your own furniture, and it was very nice and accommodating. They have so many activities for the residents. I was very impressed with all of their activities. I was very impressed with the place. The staff who accommodated me during the tour was amazing. They couldn't have been any nicer. I met with people beforehand. She took my dad up there and the staff suggested that we have lunch. We had lunch and a tour, and it was very nice. The layout of the place was wonderful; it was beautiful. I have visited many other places but this one is reasonable in terms of price.

Oaks at Post Road was clean, everybody's friendly, and the residents seemed happy and cheerful. It was one of the places that were high on my list. I didn't see anything that turned me off. They had a games room where people put puzzles together, an exercise place, trips, and people come in to do activities with the residents and provide entertainment. The person who assisted me was friendly, helpful, did not rush me, and was there to talk. The food is also very good.

My father-in-law is in Oaks at Post Road, originally in the assisted living part, and we are pretty OK. However, there is a lack of communication. If there is something going on, they are not proactive in letting us know. Every time we come visit, he is sitting outside in the sun without a hat; they do not make him wear the hat. Then, he moves to memory care and are not happy with the memory care. A lady calls us one day and tells us that he is complaining about his nose hair. She is not allowed to cut them, and we have to hire somebody to come out there to cut his nose hairs. I do not have any complaints about the cleanliness, but he does not like the food.

The Oaks at Post Road is a fantastic community. My husband was there before he died. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Each of the caregivers that were there treated him like family, and they responded to all his needs. They were kind and gentle. I had absolutely no issue with them at all. I had a hard time leaving my husband there, but they were very supportive of me as well. They do have activities, but my husband is not able to participate in them. They had people coming and reading to them. They also had music.
