I moved to the TerraBella Riverplace, it's great and I enjoyed it. Everybody's very nice, I have not had any kind of problems whatsoever. It's very clean, the grounds are kept up well, the rooms are kept clean, and the staff in the dining room are awesome. I'm amazed at how fast they serve the meals and get everybody in and out. I talked with the residents playing bingo, and they're all very happy. I don't like the food, I'm not a meat eater. They have things like chicken, pork chops, and ham and stuff, and I'm not happy with that. The soup is good, the dessert is good, and I've had one or two things that I like. I have a full-size apartment so I do most of my cooking, it's just that I'm a very picky eater. The cost is a little high but I'm willing to pay it to get the service I'm getting now.

I will be moving into TerraBella Riverplace. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door, and they didn't know whether I was there to have an appointment or visit. I really enjoyed the place so much. They have good food. They have activities going on every day of some sort. They'll take you to doctor appointments if you need to go. I'm very happy with that place so far. I think I'm going to like it a lot. I'm looking forward to it.

I toured TerraBella Riverplace. The size of the rooms, I think they're reasonable. I didn't picture what was going to be but they have a variety of room sizes. I observed how happy the people seemed to be there. I can remember running a list to my brother of all the things I liked about it. One of the things is that my mother's church sends a priest to have a service every Sunday, which would make her very happy. As an independent, she can have her car there or if she wants to have someone drive her to an appointment, she just has to sign up. The menus looked good. There were a variety of available things to do there, they had game rooms, and people coming in, like there was a church group and a music group came in and it wasn't on their schedule, but they came in and sat in the atrium. A lot of people came down and listened to them play. I thought that was nice. The building looked very clean, and I thought the layout was good. They have a central atrium. They have three floors and on each wing, they have the laundry room available. If you come off the elevator on the third floor, you can see down in the atrium and into the dining area and see what's going on. I like the fact that they have a sidewalk that goes all the way around the building. The people who live there can go for a walk, and there are nice places to sit outside and enjoy the day.

I went to TerraBella Riverplace. It was nice. It wasn't as impressive, but it was still quite nice. The room was fine. The place appeared to be quite clean. The staff who accommodated me was a very nice gentleman. He was very accommodating. I did not choose to eat there, but I liked the arrangement of the dining facility. It seemed more open. Some of the other places have more of like enclosed dining rooms, while TerraBella Riverplace just seemed to be more open and somehow seemed friendlier.

I went to TerraBella Riverplace. It's very nice. I got to eat one meal there, and the food was very good. From what I saw, the staff were very friendly, very knowledgeable. I think it's a very good place, it's very convenient. They have transportation provided if you need it. Entertainment comes in about once a week, and I know a lot of people that perform there.

We loved TerraBella Riverplace. It was a lot less expensive and I liked the way the apartments looked, better than the other place we toured. They had creamy walls and the rooms had more sunlight. They didn't have a kitchen and they didn't have a washer and dryer in each room, which we kind of liked. They just had a little space where you could make popcorn or coffee and that was enough. We sort of liked that it was more like a dorm instead of your own little apartment with your own appliances and stuff. We liked that it had three meals. The outdoor ambiance was neat and clean, but there was just a little area in the back and a little bit of lawn. It had parking in the front and then the walkway. We walked around to the back where there was a little bit of grass and landscaping. I didn't feel like it had enough outdoor space. We liked the staff during the tour. He was very nice and answered all our questions. He showed us floor plans and gave us a booklet. I love the apartments, but they're in the process of redecorating.

I love TerraBella Riverplace. It's a perfect fit for my mom. What we really liked the most were the people who live there and then the staff. We were toured through the facility by the director, Charles. As we went through the facility, he introduced us to all of the staff, and then if there was a resident that was walking by, he would introduce us, and we would talk with them. Those were some sweet, sweet people. We really enjoyed the people that were in the facility, the facility itself, and the layout. It was bright, and it was very well lit. There was a garden patio. One of the high points for me, because my mother is a Catholic who goes to church every Sunday, is that they have a chapel in their facility. St. Mary's comes in and does services on Sundays. The other thing I really liked about the place was that it was all completely indoors. You could walk around the entire facility indoors. They have a puzzle table, a game room, a little gym, and a library. One of the other really nice things that we got to experience right before we left was live entertainment. A lot of the seniors came and sat around this area and this gentleman came in. He set up his music and he sang old timey music. We really enjoyed that. We stayed for a couple of songs, and it was very nice.

We went to tour TerraBella Riverplace. The food that they served us was very good. The people that were serving were friendly and helpful, and the residents were very friendly. Several stopped by to say hello and introduced themselves. The dining area was very nice. It was bright, open, clean, and nicely decorated. It had a view of the outside, which was nice. My mother-in-law was particularly excited about a ground-floor unit that opened to the outside. She would love to have had that one, but they didn't provide assisted living. It was open, bright, and clean. They had somebody leading the residents in to play bingo when we were there. They were in the process of renovating, and updating furniture and carpet. The gentleman who gave us the tour and gave us information was very knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful.

I visited TerraBella Riverplace, and I loved what I saw. The staff was good and they worked with me. The dining area looked nice and clean. I was impressed with it. I loved the location of the facility. The 1-bedroom apartment was perfect for what I wanted. I saw the playroom and some of the other common rooms.

The tour I had at TerraBella Riverplace was very good. The manager who took us through was overly nice and was willing to work with us in any way that he needed to. They supplied us with lunch for the day and the food was good. The rooms, for what my mother-in-law could afford, were small, but they had availability for bigger ones if you had the income for it. They supplied everything for the amount you pay like transportation. It was very nice. They were under a little construction. They were getting everything set up to redo the carpets.

TerraBella Riverplace was spacious for the price. The view was gorgeous. The staff was great. They were very hospitable, very friendly, very kind, and very pleasant. Each one of them played their role (from the dietician to the activities director) on how they would keep my sister busy if she moves in there. It was very good. The residents are allowed to have their vehicles, so they can come and go. If you have grandkids that visit, there's a place for them to visit in the library and play games. So, you can participate with family and other friends. They have a beauty salon and arts and crafts, as well as somebody that comes in either to sing or to play music.

I'm very pleased with my tour at TerraBella Riverplace. Everything about the physical appearance is nice. The grounds are good and well kept. The staff was gracious and unbelievable. They invited us back for lunch although I didn't set up an appointment for it. She asked me about the activities that I liked. One lady had been there for five years and another one had been there for a month, they gave us a pleasant review of the place. The rooms I saw were adequate.

I am very pleased with TerraBella Riverplace. They have suites ranging from two-bedroom two bathrooms, to studios, to one-bedroom suites, and a couple of smaller suites. Our transportation to shopping and appointments is free. They serve three meals a day, and they provide parking and light housekeeping. Every week they change our linens, vacuum, clean the bathrooms, dust, and mop the floor. Some of us have a deck or a balcony. I have a balcony on mine where I have some little plants. We have an air conditioning unit in each apartment, too. We have activities like bingo/card games. There are entertainers that come in once a week. Sometimes vendors can come in and set up tables for several hours in a day. We are given a pendant to wear, which is included in our rent. It is an emergency thing (like if we fall), and we need help. They provide a cable for our televisions. If we want internet, we can add that as a separate charge. We have a library and an atrium that has a WIFI signal for people with laptops/computers. We have an outdoor area where we can sit and walk around the premises. One thing that's especially convenient here is a new Veterans clinic has opened up about a quarter of a mile from where we are. It is straight up the road from us. We have a lot of veterans who live here, and they would find that convenient. We know in advance what the menu is going to be. They put out a weekly menu, and we're allowed to have guests. They have a guest suite if anybody wants to come and stay a few days for $75 a night (that includes the three meals a day). There's a beauty shop, but it's not in operation right now because it closed when we were locked down on COVID. However, the bus could take you to the beauty shop or a barber shop. The people here are very helpful.

Terrabella Riverplace was a very open and loving community. We really were very impressed with it and would love for my brother to live there, but the cheapest thing they had was still beyond his means. It's very good. I would recommend it to anybody. The staff was wonderful. The food was very good. We were really impressed with the whole place. The dining area was like a nice restaurant. They serve each table just like they would in a restaurant. It's very clean, very neat, and very inviting. We looked at several apartments, one with a nice seating area with a good-sized bedroom, a very nice handicap style bathroom, and plenty of closet space. It's very nice. Then we looked at the studio, which was the cheapest one, and it was just one big room with a bathroom with plenty of closet space. It's just very nice, and that really would be all he needed, but still it was beyond his means. It was very clean and up-to-date. They had several places where you could sit and watch TV. They had some game rooms and they had one section with a small shuffleboard and that kind of thing where you could play, and it was very nice.

It was very nice and new. Dave, who did the tour, was very helpful to mom and knew the things she needed to hear or that she would be interested in. They had good facilities but very limited parking. And I worried about mom because she wants to take her car. She found one apartment there she liked on the second floor, overlooking some nice little wooded area where people walk around there. She would be able to sit out there in the calm with the breeze, so she liked that. The other place had washers and dryers in the rooms, while this place have washers down the hall that they could use. They had all the facilities you would need. The 1-bedroom was plenty big enough for my mom and it had everything she needed.

What I liked most were the dining and activities. The dining area was beautiful. They had white tablecloths and it was set up nicely and lots of people were able to gather down there. They had bingo and they had an activities room and they did movies and popcorn. They had transportation so they could take the seniors places, so that was a big plus. The person during the tour was nice. He was understanding and patient because my mother is a slow-mover. The whole experience was good. They had a beauty salon. I didn't see anything amiss. It was well kept and clean. It felt homey, more like an apartment complex.

My sister went into here. She stayed there for less than a month and had to move to an assisted living. She was there for just 5 or maybe 6 weeks at the most, and she deteriorated. She had to go down to the dining area to eat her meals there and she couldn't even get up to go down to eat her meals anymore, so her daughter moved her into another place that has full-time care. She went to rehab for a couple of weeks, and after rehab, they recommended that she not go back to Riverplace anymore because she needed more care and the place didn't have that kind of care. My wife's parents were there too. Her mom went in and was only there about 4 months before she passed away but her dad stayed there for 6 years. We think it was a good place and it took good care of him. It was taking good care of my sister too, but unfortunately, she needed more than what they offered. When she went in, she was not so bad, but she deteriorated pretty quickly. She's got a fatty liver and her liver has just about stopped, and she needs to have her stomach cavity and one of her lungs drained almost every day now. I have only good things to say about the place. I went down there to help my sister move and they were very nice still. It's been a few years since my wife's dad passed, but they're still a very good place. They serve 3 meals, the meals are good, and if you need it salt-free or something, they can tailor your meal. For each meal, you have a couple of choices too. I've eaten there several times with my wife's dad and with my sister while I was helping her move in. The food was always good. The cleanliness is good too. The only complaint I have is that they've got an elevator, my sister was on the 3rd floor, and we brought her couch over there and it would not fit in the elevator. The stairs were too narrow to turn the corner in so we couldn't bring her couch in. It wasn't a really big couch, but it was big enough for 3 people to sit on. They only have independent living but if you go out on your own, you could hire a nurse or somebody to come in and take care of you. My sister had some physical therapy where they came to her, but they were not from the facility. Her doctor wanted her to get some physical therapy and they came to her room. She wasn't there long enough for that to help because she deteriorated. The staff was very friendly, but one time, we needed somebody from the staff and we couldn't find anybody. This was during regular hours but when I went to the desk, there was nobody there. That's because they were out doing something else. The facilities were clean and it looked like you were in a big, fancy hotel. They had nice artwork on the walls and little tables here and there. It was very nice. I think the activities were good when we were there. They had a prayer breakfast one day and they had people playing cards on another. They had exercise classes and Zumba classes. I don't know how to compare it to anything but as far as I'm concerned, they were very good. It's a good, friendly place and they're helpful. It's fairly quiet there and it's a nice location. It's got nice grounds to walk around the outside. I believe they have a little garden area for the people living there if they want to do a little gardening and stuff.

The tour was very informative. It was done very professionally. It appears that the facility is very well managed. We were impressed with that. The person who gave the tour was very professional. The rooms are nice, and some are small. Overall, they are very competitive with the cost. The services that they provide are very good. They have personal contact with all of the people that are living there. I would recommend it. We toured the dining room while others were finishing up their meal. We reviewed the menu, and it was set up very well and nutritious. We had some discussion with some of the people living there, and they told us that they were very satisfied with the dining. They have all kinds of crafts. They have a lot of things to do and outside activities that you can participate in. At times, they take people to the things that are available to the public, and you go in a group there. It was nice, and I don't think there's any shortage of activities at all there.

I like the location, but I didn't like that there were too many people with walkers and wheelchairs. I'm looking for one that's a little bit more for independent residents, but the staff was very good, very professional, and very personable. The facility was clean and good. I didn't like that the building was sunk in though instead of on a hill or leveled with a street. You kind of have to go down because the building was constructed that way, but that's a personal choice. They don't have too much parking either because they don't have much space outside. I think I picked up a parking spot that was not for me.

It was a very nice and clean facility. The staff was very friendly and the residents seemed like they were happy. They were very convenient to all types of shopping locations. The grounds were nicely kept up and organized. The rooms were very spacious and had a little kitchenette area, nice-sized closets, and easy to access bathroom and bathtubs. It's very convenient for senior living. They had many activities to choose from and kept everybody busy in having different varieties of things to do every day. They even had an on-site barber shop and salon where they can get their hair and nails done. The food looked delicious and tasty.

My mom moved in. It's very clean, and very nice. They have a maid that comes once a week and cleans the place, washes the sheets, and towels. They have all kinds of activities every day. They have some kind of singing, they have a movie theater with recliners, a pool table, chess, and exercises. I'm really pleased. If she needs extra assistance, you have to pay for that. A lot of the people there do have private sitters, and I feel really good about the place. Mom likes the chair aerobics, she likes to socialize, and they have a full dining room. She's in a 1-bedroom, but they also have studios.

I visited and I think that's the place I want to go to. They have a Christian manager, they open it up to church meetings, and bible readings. I ate there, and the food was very dry. The facility is clean, restful, and has a pool table and a book area. They have a 1-bedroom available with a patio. The back of the facility has a forest, trees, and the front side faces the road.

It was pretty impressive. The staff was really nice and really take care of the people who live there. They had three meals a day and activities almost every single day. They have a bus, so if you don’t drive, they will take you to your doctor’s appointment or shopping at no extra charge. They were really friendly and helpful; whatever you need, they will help you out. It is a retirement home, so you are on your own. If you need something, you just go to the desk and somebody is there to help. They had a chapel, a salon, a game room, a movie theater room, a library, and an exercise room. If you have some relatives from out of town, they had guestrooms where you can actually stay on the property at a very small fee that includes meals while your relatives are there. The food was excellent. If you are a diabetic, they have food for diabetics. I was impressed with the food made by gourmet chefs. They don’t use a lot of seasoning, so it’s pretty healthy and not in big portions, so, to me, it really helps the elderly watch what they eat.

It is a very nice and very clean facility. The staff was very friendly and very professional. It’s in a good area. They had a lot of residents that had their own personal vehicles, so there were limited parking spaces for guests. The facility looked refreshing; there wasn’t a smell or an odor.

I liked this place a lot as they had activities that took the residents away from the facility for outings. They also had a lot of things for the residents to do when they are there and their food is very good.
