Concerned Family Member

The facility is very old and run down. It needs to be cleaned and updated. The rooms are very small. They have two or three people sharing a room. There is no room for personal belongings in the rooms. The common area where the TV is needs to have more furniture or seats for people to sit on. The Common area does not have any thing in there for them to do. It was very sad. I was told they have an out side area for them to go to. It was just a grassy area with a few chairs. They have vending machines for them to use, but they were empty. I asked my family member if they were able to get a shower and they said no. That they just wipe them off. My family member is capable of taking a shower but was not aloud to. There are no showers in the room. There was know one there at the door to help when we arrived for the first time. We had to just walk around until we found someone to help. I hate that we did not have any other facilities available. I would not have sent my family member here! We are definitely looking to move to another facility. I would not recommend this place. It is very old, cluttered, nothing works, and not enough works there to help when you need them.

We are going to keep my friend in the rehab to get her stronger. She is at Mountain View Health Care Center. I love the caring people who work there. However, I wish that the building was in better condition. My friend is with two other women in the room, and I would want her to have a little bit more privacy. They have a common area and people can go there to eat their meals. They don't have to be restricted to having them in their rooms, so that's a very good thing. The cleanliness is good, but the actual facility is quite old.

Staff is awesome, couldn't ask for better care! There are always activities for the residents to enjoy when they feel up to it. Since COVID, they are limited for their own protection. The building is old, but kept very clean.

A Loved One

The nursing care that my mom has received at Mountain View has been good so far. The facility itself could use some TLC. The rooms are not in very good condition. I'm also not really fond of three patients to a room. The nurse that my mom has is great and does a good job. She seems to genuinely care about the patients. I'd say it's a good value for the money.

I have a family member here. She is very well cared for. They have daily activities for the residents that helps keep them occupied. They have a choice of what they want for each meal. I've been there many times when the nurses come in to check on her. They are always friendly and treat her more as a friend than a patient.

The staff was caring to the residents and the food was great. The owners and managers run a very smooth faculty.
