My husband has already moved into Laurel Glen at Carrollton Assisted Living. What I like best about this community is that it's very personable. The care is like one-on-one. The memory care room is adequate and clean. They encourage them to get out of the room. There's not a lot in my husband's room because of his condition. It's very minimal, and that's good, and I believe it's safe. For programs, they have pet therapy. They had a lady who brings miniature ponies over, and my husband was very engaged with that. He liked that. My husband is not interactive with playing cards or anything like that but likes pet therapy. They have a lot of activities for memory care patients. I have tried their food and it's very good. As for value for money, it's very reasonable compared to a lot of the others.

Laurel Glen at Carrollton was built back in the eighties and it's been in our county since we moved over here, so it's well established, right behind the major shopping areas. It's convenient to church. It has kind of an eighties look, townhouses, the main building, kind of those homes with fields and the grounds. It's real homey. I got a small apartment because it's just me. It's 600 square feet, but well designed, and all the spaces used well. It's real good for wheelchairs and walkers. The doors are wide enough. It's probably time to get more upgrades, but it's absolutely fine with us because we eat over at the main building anyway, so I don't do a lot of cooking or anything. The dining area is real nice. They take real good care of us and the food is good. It's not filet mignon, but it's all healthy, and it's all what we need. It's nutritious food and there's not a lot of sweets to make us not feel good. They try to take good care of us, and we get all our food groups for sure. It's always warm. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. It's a real happy place. Every day, you get to do bingo, you can do art, and you got different choices of different things you can do. You can go out to church, but you can have church there, too. We have book studies. We do yoga and exercise. The facility really works well for us all.

I visited Laurel Glen at Carrollton Assisted Living. Everything was very clean and nice, but there was a good bit of walking from where the rooms were to where the dining hall was. The staff who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable and very polite. They have a salon, they do bingo and all those things. It's located close to hospitals and restaurants.

I went to Laurel Glen at Carrollton Assisted Living. I was quite impressed. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and seemed to be very organized. It seemed to be very quiet and it seemed like everybody was happy and glad to be there. The layout was good. They had four or five games, they had activities for the senior citizens, and they had washer and dryer service, movies, and outside where they could go out on the patio and relax. I think they had a salon and they had a rehab center that was included. All the rooms were spacious and everything looked clean.

Laurel Glen at Carrollton Assisted Living was very clean. The dining room was light and airy. The rooms were nicely sized and the residents that we saw appeared to be pleasant. Nobody looked unhappy to be there. The staff was very knowledgeable. One man had been there for eight years and had nothing but praise for the company.

The person guiding me around Laurel Glen at Carrollton Assisted Living was very helpful. The place was very clean. The few people that I saw seemed very happy. The memory care facility was an open layout where nurses could see all the residents at once. They also make sure that they come out of their room during the day, so they can socialize with other people. It was great. They're redoing the place, so it's going to be really nice when they're done. There's a courtyard, a little activity area, a hair salon, and a large room where families could come to visit and sit, so they don't disturb other people. That was a nice amenity.

It was a very nice place. The staff was very professional and very pleasant. The residents took the time to talk to us and give us their opinion. They had a communal dining room and private kitchenette in many of the rooms. They had nice courtyards and a big gathering room where they could watch movies or play the piano. It was really pleasant.

It is the nearest place I could get for my husband where I feel comfortable. The rooms are spacious. It's more like a hospital room, but we brought our own furniture. The sitting area is large and there are different types of chairs like recliners, rocking chairs, leather chairs, and sofas. The dining area has placemats and napkins, and it looks nice. The help there is remarkable. They are very caring and they seem to be very aware of the elderly; they don't belittle them. They have something on Valentine's Day, and they celebrate birthdays. They have a lot of activities there, but my husband does not participate in them.

I have a 1-bedroom with a full kitchen here. I have been here for 3 years, and I do my own cooking because their food is terrible. The place is OK, and I like the people. The staff is nice, and I have nice neighbors too. I think my apartment is bigger than the one at the other community. Also, I have a washer and dryer in my apartment. They play cards and bingo, but that's basically what they do. I think that's because that's what the people want to do.

It was very nice but spread out, which would be difficult for my sister to get around in. It was nice, clean, and did not smell.

It was very nice. The director toured me and was very nice and showed up on Saturday, which was her off day. She showed me everything I needed to see and had all of the information I needed. They had a large TV room and an activity room, but there didn't seem to be a whole lot of residents. It's a smaller facility. They gave me a box of cookies just for touring the place. They were homemade and smelled wonderful.

It is a clean place. They seem to watch out after her. She has one room, and it is clean and nice. She has her own bathroom too. I have tried the food there once or twice, and it is good. I think they have some crafts, and they have bingo. On Sunday they have a church group that comes in that does singing and preaching. It is close to me and my sister, so it is convenient. Also they will accept animals if she has that.
